Laura was such a breath of fresh air after what we had just been through at our previous airbnb apartment in Rome (see Colosseo Cozy review).
She met us, with a smile, on time.
Laura is an extremely generous and friendly person.
The apartment has the amazing distinction of looking so much better than its photos.
Everything works and it is very close to the main tourist attractions.
It is soooooooooooooooo clean and well looked after.
Great great apartment. The photos don't do it justice! Great location and very clean! She had very helpful hints and assisted with all my queries! Great host and I loved the secret door! Thanks so much Laura!
This is a great location! The host was warm and made sure everything ran smoothly. The AC was a blessing, and everything worked perfectly. People said it was on the 1st floor but actually it's the 2nd floor, raised up from the street. The neon lights from American Apparel across the street were bright, so remember to close the shutters and you'll be set! It was quiet and the shower was great with nice water pressure. My only complaint was that the description mentions a rooftop balcony with a view of the Colosseum, but it is inaccessible. The balcony definitely factored into my decision to stay there so I was disappointed by that and feel it should be removed from the description. The laundry was great and in the hallway, so that was nice too! All in all a great stay!

The studio is located in a great neighborhood, and is what attracted us. There are lots of restaurants and shops and it's so close to major attractions. Laura was incredibly helpful and the studio was stocked with books and maps. Laura explained everything in the apartment, recommended restaurants, and even made reservations for us (so thoughtful and kind since we didn't have access to a phone).
The neighborhood is very youthful and was a little louder at night than we expected. The studio is beautifully decorated, but it is in an old building and has some plumbing issues.
Laura's lovely place played a big part in us feeling at home in Rome in a second. The area is supernice, lots of little restaurants are in nearby, and for those who want to indulge in the real Italian experience: a true piazza - with all it has to offer - is just across the street.
Rome sights are in mere walking distance - best way to really familiarize with a city.
The apartment is nicely furbished (fantastic bed!) and perfectly clean. Laura was very kind to us, explained everything thoroughly when we arrived and assisted with our requests later on as well.
One thing worth to know: the appartment is on the first floor, with all pros and cons of that.
Regardless, we had the best time, would love to return again.
