I had a fantastic stay in Nice, I was attending the Monaco boat show so was in and out at different times. Great place to stay with a lovely host and lots of handy places to eat. Comfortable room clean and tidy.
Sept.2013 The room is very bright and is convenient enough for 2 people to stay. The host provides you with linen and towels. There are some room rules to follow (noise, keeping the room clean, etc). The location is good, still if you don't like walking a lot you'd better take a bus to the sea or the old city. The good thing is that the station is really nearby, there are also some cafes and bakeries close to the appartement.
Hi, I had no similar experience therefore my response can be not objective. Earlier I visited hotels only 4 and 5 stars.Nevertheless, everything was very good. Hostess (Clair) was very friendly woman. She tried to help us with everything. She was very delicate and she wasn't disturb us when it wasn't necessary. Pay attention, she doesn't speak English! Only French. We used (website hidden) Translate, but she can't use modern technologies so she explained with the gestures. :-)
The room was pretty nice. Clean and silent. The balcony leaves in a yard and it's very good because street is very noisy - cars and bikes, bikes and cars all day and all night.
Maybe our iPhones is too weak (or too weak WiFi-router in the flat), but in the our room WiFi signal received only in corner of the room near the door - it was uncomfortable. In the kitchen, hall, bathroom signal was OК.
20 minutes on foot to the embankment, 20 to the Massena, 20 to the railway station - it's all OK.
It was a very pleasant stay at Claire's. The room is nice and quiet. She is funny, very welcoming and respects your privacy. Although she does not speak English she made sure that you understand her by having an already prepared sheet in English. She left maps and guides so that you can explore quickly Nice and surrounding areas. I can definitely recommend her place.
Good location and easy to get down to the beaches and main part of the city. Everything you need is close by. 20 minute walk from the train station. I never met Christian as I believe he is assisting with Claire who owns the unit. Claire is very nice and friendly she provided everything that was needed. She didn't speak English and I don't speak French but we figured things out. I felt like I was being watched when I was there, which wasn't too much as I really enjoyed the city and surrounding area. Room and apartment is like it says. There was a 10 euro charge per load for laundry that caught me off guard. I don't recall if it was in the description or not but Claire did a good job. The apartment was very clean and I had no issue.
Our experience was really really good. The room is spacious and not too hot, also it was not noisy. We could use the kitchen and the fridge, and we were allowed to have breakfast/dinner on the big balcony (there is also a smaller one just outside the room, it was nice to sit there in the evening) Claire was really nice and helpful all the time!!!!!
This was a really nice place to stay. It's walkable (maybe a bit of a long walk for some, but we enjoyed it) to the Promenade, and a much shorter walk to the train station. My wife and I stayed just one night while returning our French rental car and catching a train to Italy. The host (who is not Christian, but was super-friendly and accommodating) gave good information on restaurants, bakeries, sights, etc. She didn't English, but for me, that's really a plus -- better for us to have to try to dust off the high school language skills and have to struggle a bit... it's part of the experience. The stay was very well organized and we and no problem at all figuring things out.
We had a great time in Nice! The communication with Christian before, during and after our stay was friendly, easy and quick. He also organized someone who picked us up at the airport, everything was fine. The apartment was excellent - good located, spacious and clean. Claire was a friendly and helpful host. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Nice and will definitely stay in this apartment again.
We had such an amazing time in Nice. Christian was wonderful. Before we arrived Christain was excellent at being in communication with me. He answered all of my questions very quickly and even arranged for us to be picked up at the airport. Once in Nice, Christian gave us wonderful advice on where to go and how to navigate the city. The apartment was clean, beautiful, and in a great location. It was about a 15 minute walk from the beach and not too far from the city center. Everything was very walkable. Claire was so sweet and wonderful as well. We could not have asked for a better place to stay!
Well, I had a great time in Nice.I think Claire is kind as well as efficient landlay, which made me comfortable and easy to stay. She knows about Nice very well and eager to help me. Even though I can't speak French, anyhow we communicated well. Also communicating with Christian was always accurate and fast. Nice was nice and thanks to both of you!
