Everything was exactly as described in the post. Small room, but very large shared bathroom. The location is great: super quiet neighborhood close to MIT and Harvard U. When I arrived I found clean towels. It is the perfect accommodation for last-minute trips to Cambridge. Great privacy.
Gave me a wrong enter code, resulting in hesitating in the street for half an hour; there is some problem with the cable tv, couldn't watch; it was said repaired the next day, still didn't work, then I moved to another room:) my first time using Airbnb was awful.
The posting on the website was all accurate so I probably should have been more prepared for what I found, but my experience at this AirBnB felt pretty cold and unfriendly. It was a reminder of why I like AirBnB so much-- to experience people's homes, get to know the neighborhoods I stay in better than I otherwise would, and to meet interesting people-- and in this case none of those aspects were present. Pretty much the same as staying at a hotel, except with a shared bathroom.
Got the job done when every hotel in Boston was booked. Lifesaver.
Room of a size of a walk-in closet. No desk. Basically room for a bed and a chair and a tiny tv. Air in the room gets stuffy quickly. Emergency phone listed on the website doesn't work. The only positive thing is location. Otherwise unless you're on a super tight budget avoid like Ebola.
