Hello, welcome to our studio apartment. It is in a fantastic location at the very heart of central London.
You will have own big kitchen and shower room.
The closest tube stations are Tottenham Court Road, and Holborn, both are 5mins walk away. The flat has broadband, and also has a washer, dryer.
I used to run my guesthouse on this very street, so know the area very well. The flat is right in the heart of London, so it is difficult to pick out any one place in particular that you must visit. But for eating out my favourite is Old Compton Street, one of the first places in London to start serving food late at night. The British Museum is at the heart of Bloomsbury. Historically, Bloomsbury is associated with the arts, education and medicine so the area sets a sophisticated and modern atmosphere. The Bloomsbury theatre, a very respected theatre within the eyes of Londoners; is located within the area.
Locals to the area are spoil for choice with restaurants, bars and clubs being within feet of each other. The location is amazing! Come and visit, and experience central London for yourself :)

Very good location and big enough spaces to stay with 2 people.
Maggie was a wonderful host and her space was great! Not only was she quick to respond to all of my messages, but she was also very accommodating! I briefly met Maggie on my way out one morning and she was so sweet. She made sure I was having a great stay so far and reassured me that if I ever needed anything, to just let her know.
The flat was amazing. It was spacious, for both my sister and I, and we are 100% sure it would still be big enough for maybe 4 people. The flat also came with everything you could need. There was a small table, extra bedding/towels/blankets, a washer, small fridge, hair-dryer, lots of outlets and wifi!
And the location is everything. The British Museum is pretty much right outside your doorstep, the Holborn Station is only a 10min walk away, Seven Dials/Covent Garden are also around a 10min walk, and there's a 24hr Sainsbury 5min away! My sister and I pretty much walked everywhere. And though the flat is located in a pretty happenin' area, the street was also very quiet. I was never once woken up by any street noise.
The only complaints I have are that:
1. the wifi was a bit spotty at times. It was sometimes pretty fast and sometimes very very slow. But! You shouldn't be glued to the internet when you're out traveling the world so maybe this is a blessing in disguise.
2. The bathroom is VERY small. It is literally just a sink, toilet, and a shower in the corner. Water gets all over the floor no matter how hard you try not to.
I would definitely stay here again and with Maggie. It's just a great space and the host is equally as great!
P.S. if you do stay in this unit, remember it is on the top floor so don't bring too much stuff/huge suitcases cause that is not fun to lug up/down 3 flights of stairs. Also, the stairs and the flats are all wood so try be quiet. My sister and I tried very hard to go down the stairs quietly so if we disturbed anyone, we're sorry!
Thank You Catherine for nice words. I am happy you has good time in the apartment.
WIFI , i am having another Router install . I was told will be much better, even now if you plug in , signal very good.
ref shower room , next time i refurbish , I will remember that, go for larger shower. now is to late,
see you soon. maggie.
Maggie was a great host and made sure that I had what I needed. Amazing location with everything that somebody would need with the incredible British Museum around the corner. This studio is great for singles or for couples. The street is quiet and the bed is comfortable. The shower/toilet is small but it worked. The location is perfect for either business or pleasure. Holborn tube station is a quick walk and there is a 24 hour corner store a block away. Cafes are everywhere. Sainsbury supermarket is very close. Gym Box and the YMCA are very good gyms nearby.
I would stay again.
Maggie was the most accommodating hostess. She worked with me on check-in and even on my departure, she was flexible and arranged for me to adjust my checkout when I needed to. The place was very clean and exactly as advertised. Great location with multiple options for transport and food. I walked back home every night without the need for directions or a taxi. A pleasure to stay with Maggie.
I've stayed with Maggie for 3 weeks in November, 2013. Overall experience of the service and the apartment was very good. Three best things about this place are location, location and location. You are in the middle of London in walking distance from all major spots and sightseeing places. The apartment is quite fresh and well equipped. Some minor negative things, that I did not care too much of, are small shower / toilet, noisy rubbish collectors in the morning and price that could have been a little bit lower. Overall, I enjoyed staying there. I recommend Maggie as a friendly and attentive host.
One block from the British Museum on a quiet street-- you can't beat the location. Comfortable walking distance to a couple of tube stops. Studio is spacious, kitchen is well-appointed. Maggie was very diligent & easy to work with. The flat had several thoughtful touches like an umbrella & some guidebooks. However, the bathroom is VERY small and hard to keep clean & dry--shower may not be comfortable for a large person--and furnishings are rather basic and worn. The WiFi was a bit flaky. Don't choose this if you need a comfortable place to work (although there are lots of comfy coffee shops nearby with WiFi), or can't handle 3 flights of uneven stairs. Also, the futon mattress is rather basic.
very good stay! all excellent as always
This apartment is in a great location and is very easy to walk or take the tube to anywhere in london. I stayed on the top floor so getting bags up the stairs is not easy but the apartment is very nice. Maggie was fantastic and was very helpful about leaving me the key and also storing my bags after i had checked out.
We had a good stay in Maggie's London apartment. The main room and kitchen are both a good size, the location is great (close to museums and other cultural attractions), and the host was very quick to respond to all of our requests.
On the negative side, the bathroom is a small "wet room" which is somewhat difficult to shower in, the 3 flights of narrow stairs are not easy to climb with heavy bags, and we were unable to access the wireless network due to range issues (though Maggie said she would look into installing an additional access point closer to the top of the building, which would solve this problem). I was able to plug an ethernet cable (conveniently hanging out of the wall) into my laptop and use it as a wireless hotspot so that solved our internet troubles.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, and we would recommend this flat with the caveats noted above.
This apartment was so close to the british museum, the underground and eating places. we had a great time.
