Interaction with Guests
I do not live in the building but i do always come to the apartment to get the room ready for our guests. I like to make sure that all is clean and that the guest is satisfied. I have a 24 hour check-in system in place to accommodate any late check-ins or any guests that are a bit late. you can reach via mobile phone or AirBnB message at any time, please don't hesitate :)
I used to run my guest house on this very street, so i should know the area very well. The flat is right in the heart of London so it is difficult to pick out any one place in particular that you must visit. But for eating out my favourite is Old Compton Street, one of the most renowned places in London to serve dinner til late at night. The British Museum is at the heart of Bloomsbury, a mere walking distance away from the apartment. Historically, Bloomsbury is associated with the education, medicine and mostly, the art. Therefore the area sets a sophisticated yet very modern atmosphere. The Bloomsbury theatre, a very respected theatre within the eyes of Londoners and actors/actresses alike; is located within the area.
The closest tube stations are Tottenham Court Road (Central and Northern line) and Holborn (Victoria and Central line, both are a 5 minute walk away.
No smoking inside the premises.
No pets allowed inside the apartments.
No parties to keep the apartments clean please.
We arrived a little bit later than we initially planned, but Maggie was very accommodating and got us into the apartment right away. The apartment was very clean, comfy, and look even better than the pictures. We were less than five minutes away from the British Museum and less than 15 from Trafalgar Square. Despite the ritzy neighborhood, there were two quaint cafes nearby that had a full English breakfast for under five pounds. Would definitely recommend!
Maggie is an amazing host. She is very quick to respond (within an hour), provided exactly what was described and had everything very clean. I really enjoyed this place for my needs in London, which is in one of the posh places to visit. There are many places to dine, drink and enjoy within minutes. This place is on a cute small street that takes you away from the big city life, which is just around the corner. I look forward to staying at Maggie's again in my near future to London. Cheers
Check-in was easy, as I could obtain the key even in Maggie's absence.
She showed up shortly after and took care to make sure everything was fine.
The flat is indeed well-placed, in a reasonably quiet street right next to the British Museum, and was clean.
Worth noting, the Wi-fi works very well, an uncommon occurence in rentals.
I would definitely use this apartment again. The location is very handy, one minute from the British museum and easily walkable from Soho and Covent Garden.
The apartment is a clean and warm studio with a handy kitchen (which I didn't use) and a small shower room and toilet. The bed is big and there is a lot of space for your stuff.
Maggie is a pleasant and helpful host, the process for getting in and out was very easy. Highly recommended!
Very helpful and friendly. Maggie was also very flexible with check out. Excellent location - one train to Heathrow and two trains to most other airports.
