Circular stairs (we’ll give you a hand with the luggage) are leading down to the garden level, where the flat is divided into two separate parts, one for the guests, one for the hosts; each part having its own private quarter with bedroom and attached bathroom.
Your spacious room (22 sqm) is provided with a bunk bed, a double bed on the lower level (1.40 x 2.00 m) and a single bed on the top (0.90 x 1.90 m), head clearance to the ceiling 70/80 cm. There is also a desk with a private guest notebook. In addition, there is a free Wi-Fi for your laptop, which could be connected to the LCD TV set (international Sat TV and radio channels). A small suite containing a sofa, armchairs and a coffee table also make the stay in your private area cosy and comfortable. Your bath room has a large tub / shower and toilet. The sheets and towels are included. You have direct access from your room to your own private patio with a lovely garden; garden furniture is also provided.
Electric kettle and tea / coffee maker and coffee available; you can prepare your breakfast / meals in the kitchen (shared fridge). As breakfast is not included and will be provided by us only according to agreement, we also provide a list with excellent breakfast facilities in the neighbourhood.
Interaction with guests
This is no hotel or hostel; we just let this one guest room. The main purpose is meeting people from all over the world, who are open to the idea of “belong anywhere” and home-sharing. We are looking forward to meeting you and to have a chat with you in the kitchen and the living room; whereas the garden level with bedroom and private bath room is completely separate. During our “temporary flat share” all should feel comfortable, kindly complete your profile prior to booking and present yourself with text and photo. If you are just looking for a discount accommodation, we suggest looking somewhere else. The room is not suitable for long-term rent (or for strong smokers), as we need it by ourselves regularly.
Other things to note
Our special website provides detailed information for your stay. You will receive the access data together with the booking confirmation.
We have no pets in our apartment. During the summertime you’ll find two tortoise’s in the garden; and at cold weather we give shelter to a “shared” neighbor’s cat, which sleeps on the balcony chair.

We are a Swabian couple end of the fifties. Our two children now are mid-twenties and are often out of our home for their studies. As we liked to travel a lot (and still do), we decided to rent one room of our spacious double apartment to the Airbnb community. We have extensive experience with international guests, attended the AirbnbOpen’s 2014 in San Francisco as well as 2015 in Paris, and definitely know how to host you!
