Apartment - Entire home/apt · Via San Silverio, Rome, Lazio 00165, Italy

The Space

This 80 (website hidden). apartment is located in the center of Rome, in the Vatican area, one of the best location to stay and visit the city: 300 mt from the Saint Peter station, at walking distance from the Vatican city and Saint Peter church that can be seen just outside the apartment (on the main street).
Very well equipped, it is composed by a large bedroom with a double bed and single sofa bed, a lounge-room with a double sofa bed, a large fully furnished kitchen with a dinner table, microwave, kettle, fridge, gas stove, oven, a nice balcony where enjoy a drink or eat outside, a bathroom with shower and hot-tub.
Fast new brand Internet WI FI, TV LCD 32 inches, Air conditioning, 1st floor with the elevator.
The apartment is situated in a market square where you can find the typical Italian fresh food, vegetables, pasta, fruit, fish, bread, flowers and much more!
We do care a lot about the tidiness of our apartment and we guarantee you'll find it perfectly clean.
If you don't feel like walking is very easy to get around the city: the bus stop is only 50 meters from the building and there are many buses going straight to Piazza Venezia, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and all the monuments of Rome. The Saint Peter train station is about 300 mt from the flat and there are trains each 15 minutes going to Termini and Trastevere.
Besides the famous market, the area is full of restaurants, shops, bars, supermarkets, pubs and more.
The close Saint Peter train station is very well connected with the airports and Termini station.
You can also walk to get the metro (Ottaviano Metro Station) which is by Saint Peter Basilica.

We can organize both the transportation from the airport to the apartment or help you reserving restaurants, museums and wine tours. I and Jelena are both studying to become tour guides so if you look for a private tour or regular tours of the most important Museums or Monuments of Rome don't hesitate to ask us and we'll be glad to recommend you very professional and reasonable guides.

Check In
  • Roberto is an attentive, responsive, and helpful host. He spent a significant amount of time with us upon arrival at the flat, and he helped with last-minute arrangement to the airport when the car service didn't show up. It was extremely helpful.

Getting around Rome utilizing buses 1 minute away was easy and the traditional market immediately in front of the flat was both well-stocked and fun to trudge through. We had a great, albeit too short, time in Rome

  • This was a very nice Airbnb-experience. The apartment was great and I have never met so nice and welcoming hosts. Roberto and Jelena had arranged for us to be picked up in the airport, and they met us in the apartment with fruit, wine, snacks and a thorough introduction to Rome, including restaurant-recommendtations. They even offered to help us book restaurants and attractions.
The apartment was very nice, clean, safe, equipped with everything we needed and much like the pictures. Great value!
Because of construction, we could not use the balcony and there was quite a lot of noise in the morning, so maybe check with Roberto to see, if they are finished. Besides for that, very nice place.
Although quite central and close to the Vatican, don't expect to walk out your front door and see churches and fountains (lthough there is a great local market). This is not charming old town but a very nice and quiet residential area.
There are busses close by, but we walked everywhere we needed to go. Vatican is about 10 minutes away, the old city center and Trastevere about 20.
All in all a great stay, wonderfull hosts and a very nice apartment.

  • Roberto's flat was very clean, and is a great way to experience an apartment in a traditional Italian apartment building, is in the perfect location to see everything in the area of the Vatican, and streets away from the train station to get to other areas nearby. There is also a market that is available daily right next door - just note that they are a little rambunctious in the morning so if you like to sleep in, bring earplugs!

Having a washing machine was great - note that there is no dryer, but a drying rack was available which was much needed after a very rainy day of traveling around!

Roberto had arranged for someone to pick us up at the airport which was great, and his restaurant recommendations to both Vongole e Farina (close by) and Ragno D'Oro (close to Vatican) were very good! If you go to Ragno - order the Tagliata di Manzo - it was the best we found on our whole trip!

He also provided us with some great tips for the other places that we were visiting while we were traveling to other countries Europe, and was a gracious host.

We would absolutely recommend Roberto as a host!

  • Perfect appartment to explore the beautiful city of Rome! Also Roberto is a super friendly and accomodating host. So we can really recommend everyone to stay at this appartment if you are planning to visit Rome.

We really loved the appartment and the neighbourhood so much that we actually would loved to buy this appartment if we would have the money to buy it. :-)

Also the market accross the appartment is perfect to buy yourself a really delicous breakfast/lunch! :-)

  • Roberto represents the epitome of Italian hospitality. Upon arrival, we were treated to expresso. Roberto spent an hour bringing us up to speed on Roman public transportation, tourist hotspots and even restaurant reservations.

The apartment itself is spacious and located a short walk from the Vatican. The balcony, strong wireless connection and delightful smells from the farmers market across the road made it quite difficult to leave this charming home.

  • Fantastic location easy reach of all desirable locations. The house is great and will provide you with all you need, with fantastic hosts who will definetly make you feel welcome on arrival. If you looking for a peaceful place then you might find the upstairs neighbours very loud at time and the markt outside starts very early. Apart from this its fantastic place t stay to see all that Rome has to offer. One tip is you will find on of the best authentic restaurants just down the street, its the first one after the coffe and pastry shop on you way doen to St Peters. Went their twice and had amazing food and service. Enjoy !

  • The flat was really nice and comfortable. The flat is well furnished and public transport is available near to the apartment. On top of that, you have a nice fruit-market and a supermarket near to the place. I really liked my stay at Roberto's and I highly recommend everybody to stay in this flat.
