Large (95m2), classic, yet modern Kreuzberg apartment furnished with danish design furniture. It is well situated few steps from the Landwehr Canal and the lively Graefekiez, and Kottbusser Tor, the turkish market, cafés, bars, restaurants en masse all within 5 minutes walking. My end of the street is quiet, though. I love it here.
Runs and biking in Tempelhof Airport 5 minutes away. Fast connection to Schönefeld Airport and Berlin Central Station.
The bedroom has a double bed. The office is perfect for work and has a Wegner daybed that unfolds to a queen-size bed.
I'd say the apartment is ideal for a couple, or a couple plus a guest. Two couples works too.
The apartment is so quiet I do radio voice-overs in my office during daytime, which is unusual in a big city. VERY fast internet (40/10 Mbit with low latency), spacious bathroom, washing machine and dishwasher. This is my home when not away, and so you will find most things you could need during your stay in the apartment.
There is also a nice classic danish 3-gear bike for guests, and a second bike can be arranged. You will be taken care of and helped with your stay to the extend I can and have been told I am generous accommodating special requests, and that I respond to emails very quickly.
This apartment is perfect for travelers who want the comfort of a large but unassuming space, good taste, and easy access to everything.
The office is equipped as a simple studio which I use for radio documentaries; loud music is not an option - I like my neighbors and hope for them to like me too. This is also why you should find a different place if you come to Berlin for partying (at home).
I do not rent out for photo shoots, dinner parties, film sets or anything the like unless very clearly agreed upon in advance.
Please contact me in advance if interested in using my projector or AV equipment, this can be arranged too.

henrik's apartment is comfortable, airy, light-filled and stylish. perhaps even more importantly, it's in graefekiez, probably the best neighborhood in berlin at the moment: centrally located and full of cafes and bars. henrik was very helpful and quick to reply to any questions before and during my time in berlin. i'd love to stay there again on my next trip.
Henrik ist perfekt organisiert wir hatten eine schöne entspannte Woche in seinem ruhigen großzügigen Apartment.
so great stay at henrik's place. very cozy and warm apt. thank you so much for having us, we had a great time!
Henrik was an excellent host: He gave us detailed directions to the apartment, and responded immediately when we had questions. Even though he was out of town at the time of our trip, there were people on hand to show us around the apartment, and to answer any questions we had while staying there. The neighborhood is very central, and in between two subway (U-Bahn) stops, so getting around was not a problem. Overall, a very good experience.
We stayed in Henrik Moltke's apartment for 6 nights at the beginning of November 2013. The apartment is spacious, modern and the facilities are new and nice. The location is very good and when there was a problem with the heating, Henrik offered immediately a refunf for 1 night and took care of the problem the following day. We would like to have some more light in the living room in the evening- it will make reading easier.
We enjoyed our stay in Henrik apartment.
we had a very nice stay at Henriks flat, and it is highly recommendable.
Very nice apartment and very quiet. It is in a great area full of nice bars and restaurants.
They gave us great suggestions on where to go.
If you're looking to stay in a quiet, residential area with several restaurants and places to go out less than a 10 minute walk away Henrik's place is the place to be. Plus, he has a great selection of Danish furniture to lounge on while reading some of his books on the future and state of the Interwebs.
The apartment is in a great location, huge, and the perfect place to get acclimated. Also, before arriving at Henrik's apartment he was BEYOND helpful in sending me information about not only the apartment but things to do in Berlin, as well as making a reservation for me at a gallery...again, above and beyond! I highly recommend staying here...Henrik is the perfect host!
Henrik's apartment is beautiful, spacious, and in a wonderful neighborhood. I loved the high ceilings, the pale wood floor, the Danish modern furniture, and the balcony with pots of herbs all around it. The street is tree-lined and quiet, but there's lots going on nearby. As far as I'm concerned, this is the perfect Berlin spot, a bit bohemian, very relaxed, with lots of light and space, on a cobbled, leafy street in buzzy Kreuzberg. Henrik himself was very responsive and considerate, and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended!
