Large (95m2), classic, yet modern Kreuzberg apartment furnished with danish design furniture.
The bedroom has a double bed. The office is perfect for work and has a Wegner daybed that unfolds to a queen-size bed.
I'd say the apartment is ideal for a couple, or a couple plus a guest. Two couples works too but the second bed is a queen size.
The apartment is so quiet I do radio voice-overs in my office during daytime, which is unusual in a big city. VERY fast internet (40/10 Mbit with low latency), spacious bathroom, washing machine and dishwasher. This is my home when not away, and so you will find most things you could need during your stay in the apartment.
You will be taken care of and helped with your stay to the extend I can and have been told I am generous accommodating special requests, and that I respond to emails very quickly.
This apartment is perfect for travelers who want the comfort of a large but unassuming space, good taste, and easy access to everything.
The office is equipped as a simple studio which I use for radio documentaries; loud music is not an option - I like my neighbors and hope for them to like me too. This is also why you should find a different place if you come to Berlin for partying (at home).
I do not rent out for photo shoots, dinner parties, film sets or anything the like unless very clearly agreed upon in advance.
Please contact me in advance if interested in using my projector or AV equipment, this can be arranged too.
Me, and most things you'll find in a normal home. There's free parking in the street.
Interaction with Guests
I am normally not in Berlin when the apartment is rented out, but will respond quickly to emails and help you with (reasonable) requests, if I can
It is well situated few steps from the Landwehr Canal and the lively Graefekiez, and Kottbusser Tor, the turkish market, cafés, bars, restaurants en masse all within 5 minutes walking. My end of the street is quiet, though. I love it here.
Runs and biking in Tempelhof Airport 5 minutes away.
Fast connection to Schönefeld Airport and Berlin Central Station. Tegel is a bit less practical; better to take a cab. Kottbusser Tor (Kotti) is 5 minutes away on foot.
Other Things to Note
Some guests missed an actual bed in the bedroom, and reading light at the sofa. The washing machine is old and needs replacement. My guest bikes were both stolen. There is a Nespresso machine; bring your own capsules!
Be grown ups (in the boring sense of being grown up).
Henrik's apartment is beautifully designed, light-filled, spacious and welcoming. His assistant Kim made navigating our way around incredibly easy. The apartment is in my perfect location near the canal in Kreuzberg - everything is within walking/cycling distance. I highly recommend it!
This is a very spacious apartment in a nice area and a good base to explore Berlin. Henrik and Kim were very helpful with their directions and we managed to find our way to the apartment. We found street parking without too much problem.
Je vais voir si AirBnb me laisse rembourser.
A beautyful apartment in a very nice area. We can highly recommend it and would stay there again anytime.
I work as an investigative journalist and documentary maker. I'm based in Berlin but often work in Copenhagen or abroad. I love the ocean, books, interesting people, art and am an avid cyclist. I am known to be helpful as a host and normally respond quickly and directly to requests and questions. Don't be shy.
