Hi - we're Anne and Sylvain. We would love for you to stay in our flat. It is conveniently located in the centre of Sete, a beautiful tourist town in the south of France. Our flat is very large () and can easily accommodate 2 families, including 2 salons, 2 larger bedrooms, and 2 smaller bedrooms. We can accommodate 8 guests in real beds (1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and a bunkbed). Our flat is on the second floor of the building (no elevator). It is very long, with a central courtyard that lets in plenty of light to the back rooms. The bedrooms are spread throughout the flat with a large one in the front, a small one in the middle, and and a large bedroom and a small bedroom that are dependent on each other (you must walk through the large room to get to the small room) at the back.
We have a newly-renovated and fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, WiFi, and a baby cot.
All sheets and towels are provided. We supply plenty of coffee and tea, shampoo and body wash for your stay.
We are just 2 blocks from the main canal in which the traditional St. Louis jousting festival is held. We are 5 minutes walk from the market and pedestrian mall, and just 15 minutes drive from the beach. There are several restaurants and shops right outside the door of the building. We are 5 minutes walk from several main bus routes and a 11 minute walk from the SNCF train station.
We are looking for long-stay winter rentals as well (Sept/Oct to Apr/May). Please contact us if you are interested to work out a long-stay price.
Please contact us with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you!
Here are just a few of the upcoming events in and around Sete during Summer 2016 :
Worldwide Festival, Jazz à Sète, St. Louis Festival, Fete du Poufre, Les es, Festival de Thau, Montpellier Danse, Le Printemps des Comédiens...
Guests have access to the entire flat and you will be left in privacy for the entirety of your stay. We ask that you please respect the locked cupboards and closets.
Our friend, Léna, will give you the keys and will be contactable if you have any problems during your stay. Then, our house is yours!
You will have access to the entire flat, but please respect the closets that are locked and please turn off the heaters when you go out for the day and at the end of your stay.
Interaction with guests
Either Sylvain or I will be available by email or phone during your stay, but our friend, Léna, will let you into the flat and will be contactable if you have any problems during your stay.
Our favourite restaurants in the area are Paris-Mediterranean and La Peniche! We will send you recommendations in an email when you book.
You must find street parking near our flat, which is generally not hard to find in the streets immediately surrounding our building. We will send you a map that marks both the pay and free parking when you book.
Other things to note
Trash bins and recycling are located on the quays to the left of the building as you exit. The buzzer/intercom does not work between the building door and the flat, so we provide 2 sets of keys. There is a "night lock" on the building's door which is locked at 9pm. If you exit after this time, please remember to relock this extra lock. Please remember to turn off the heating when you leave the flat during the day and at the end of your stay.
S'il vous plaît pas faire la fête dans l'appartement, pas jouez la musique forte, êtes respectueux des voisins, ne pas fumez à l'intérieur, et laissez le propre plat.
This is our home - please take care of it like it is yours. Please no smoking inside, no partying, no loud music, be respectful of the neighbours and please leave the flat neat.
I am an American living in France with my French husband and two sons. I love to travel and meet new people. I look forward to having guests stay at our flat and hope they enjoy their stay!
