The Space

Cute and cosy cottage with all amenities you could need for a Summer or Winter break in the South of France. There is a bright and spacious open plan living / kitchen with wood stove which leads onto the garden via two doors, one from the living area, one from the kitchen.
One bedroom with King sized bed (that completely dwarfs the room but it's brand new and very comfortable!)
The kitchen is fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, cooktop, oven and microwave.
The bathroom has a shower over bath.
The garden is a lovely private space with roses, lavender, jasmine and various other plants in season. We have outside dining with a large sunshade, sunloungers and a paddling pool (around 70cm deep).
Wifi provided.
It's a great village and the house is just at the edge of the village so it's quiet and easy to get out for walks in the vines. The village has a bakery, a cafe, a small grocery, a paper shop and various vans that come to the village on different days with oysters, pizza and other market food.

Interaction with Guests

Not at all if guests want privacy. I can pop in and have a glass of wine if invited! I live in the same village and I'm there to help with suggestions of things to do, places to go etc.

The Neighborhood

Easy access for walking in the vines, along the river, great cycling, beautiful views, rivers and lakes nearby, a good café with outdoor seating for summer.

Getting Around

You need a car unless you are cycle touring.

Other Things to Note

The house is opposite the distillery and during the harvest it is pretty busy with tractors coming and going from 7am. It also smells quite strongly of the left overs of the vines. This is why September is so cheap compared to other months but please don't come if you are not used to agricultural smells and noise. The garden is still completely private.
