About This Listing
This large 2 story loft apartment in Williamsburg is located right on Bedford Ave, a 5 minute walk to the Bedford Ave L stop. Also conveniently located near the JMZ subway for easy access to the Lower East Side, Nolita, etc.
The fully furnished apartment is in a new building, with all modern appliances. The kitchen is great for cooking and is located on the first floor, along with the bathroom (full bath/shower), dining area and living room. The bedroom is located on the second floor. Other amenities include free WiFi and cable TV. The apartment has floor to ceiling windows and is full of light. We are located in the back of the building away from the street so the apartment is very quiet. There is a small balcony overlooking a courtyard, as well as roof access.
Please note this apartment is a loft and the upstairs bedroom does not have walls that separates it from the rest of the apartment. It is ideal for couples, but also works well if a third person sleeps on the couch.
For those new to Williamsburg, it is a bustling area full of wonderful bars and restaurants, and our apartment is near it all.
No smoking in the apartment please. There is a small balcony for smoking.
Scarlet's service was amazing from start to finish, and the apartment was in the perfect location to see all the sights Williamsburg has to offer. The space was awesome - such a cool design and REALLY quiet as it's at the back of the building. We were amazed! There was a small hiccup with the cleaner prior to our arrival, but Scarlet kindly offered a refund for the inconvenience which was much appreciated. Make sure you take advantage of the amazing rooftop terrace, and be warned: the incredible mattress will ruin all other beds for you, forever. I miss it still. Thanks Scarlet! x
Scarlett's place was awesome. It was neat and delicate, with everything you need. I love the small balcony and the stairs! We had a tight schedule but her home made this New York trip wonderful! Found a really good biscuit restaurant nearby! I would really want to stay again if I visit next time! ;)
Scarlet was a wonderful host and very attentive even though she was out of town when we were visiting. The apartment is very nice and clean, and we really enjoyed Williamsburg. The neighborhood is very eclectic and is definitely a up and coming area, but we enjoyed the people, restaurants and shops we discovered there. The best thing was that we could hop on the subway and go to Manhattan, but we could also escape from the hordes of tourists once we had our fill.
The only issue we had was that the Internet/cable did not work while we were there, but Scarlet did everything she could to be helpful. Unfortunately getting the cable company to be helpful during the holidays is very unlikely, so it was out of her control. She was very nice and offered us a small refund to compensate for our inconvenience. The nice thing was the lack of Internet kept us from wasting our vacation watching TV or messing around online, so there's a silver lining, I suppose!
We would definitely stay at Scarlet's again if we come to NYC! Thanks for letting us stay!
It was great! The apartment is lovely and in the best location for an NY weekend. Communications with Scarlet were excellent, particularly when it became a big challenging with phones and so on. I'd recommend it to anyone.
Really cute and home-y. Great location. Scarlet was extremely helpful before and during our stay. From booking the apt to picking up the keys, the entire process was as smooth and pleasant as possible!
Perfect apartment for our trip to NYC. The space was amazing and had everything we were looking for. Fantastic location in Williamsburg. Scarlet was a terrific host and was very easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay here again our next trip back to NYC! Highly recommend!
About the Host, Scarlet
I am a 28 year old, born in California and raised in NYC, who works for an international non-profit where I focus on disaster preparedness/response. As uplifting as that sounds, I also spend my time reading, travelling, going to concerts, spinning, and cooking. (The kitchen in the apartment is really nice).
I live with my boyfriend in Williamsburg and we are looking for guests who are looking to have a good time and enjoy NYC, and will take good care of our place when we are gone.
