If you really want to enjoy your vacation, October are an ideal choice. Split is at its best then. No more summer heat, perfect for walks, ideal for sightseeing, as many tourists from all over the world have experienced. The sea is still warm, the sun no more scorching but pleasantly warm. Swimming on sandy beaches, or simply walking in the shallows will boost your energy for the coming winter days.
Apartment is set close to the city sandy beaches of Firule and Bačvice, and situated a short distance from the city center and Diocletian’s palace. It is on the first floor of a 4-storey peaceful building amidst lush Mediterranean greenery. It is close to well-known restaurants, tennis courts, a marina, a lungomare (a promenade at seaside), and two streets away from the summer night life.
It is a 54-sqm apartment with lots of sunlight and high trees in front of the windows. There are two rooms, a dining area with a small fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with toilet. The apartment sleeps 4 people comfortably, two in the bedroom with a double bed, and two on a sofa bed in the larger room, the sitting room. It is a fully serviced apartment with air-conditioning, free wireless Internet, dishwasher, washing machine and LCD television, and DVD. The apartment has its own parking space in shade.
In the surroundings of Split don’t miss to visit the remains of ancient Salona – once the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia, the ancient town of Trogir, or in a day trip, the city of Dubrovnik. You can go kayaking or canoeing in the canyon of the river Cetina (Radmanove Mlinice in the hinterland of the coastal town of Omis.
Jadranka's apartment is really really special. It is cozy, warm and very welcoming. We felt at home as soon as we were there. We arrived at 8 p.m after a long day and a tiring hike at the Plitvice Lakes and it was wonderful to have been received by Jadranka and her husband. They gave us a quick tour of the apartment, showed us how things worked, gave us all the travel tips we needed and left. The apartment has great wi fi and a lot of tourist brochures. Our 4 year old son loved the television and the wide range of channels. Also the parking facility was great. All in all we absolutely loved our stay and if we return to Croatia we will surely make Jadranka's apartment our base and travel around from there. Thanks a million Jadranka. We strongly recommend this place to anybody who wants a home away from home.
Although we arrived late to our room, Jadranka waited well late in the evening and greeted us with many smiles. We thank them so much for their kind hospitality and advice for touring around the city. We also rented a car and having a parking space available in Split was totally relieving. Thank you so much again!
We've just returned from our trip to Split (August, 2013).
Apartment and its owners were one of memorable moments of our journey! Very comfortable, full of light flat and very hospitable and friendly hosts.
Parking place as a big plus for anyone who wants to rent a car or travelling behind a wheel.
We are strongly recommend that apartment for people who wants to swim and walk in Split both.
Jadranka and Goran, спасибо!
There is no other place to stay in split. This is the place to stay.Friendliest hosts and a beautiful city.
Jadaranka was very helpful and the apartment had all the facilities you need.
Thanks for a lovely stay.
Goran and Drajanka were wonderful hosts - warm welcoming people, with great local advice. Goran kindly picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station. Updated interior apartment, clean, comfortable, quiet, and very well maintained, en-suite appliances, and A/C working great when +37c outside. While located outside of the historic area I really liked this location for a relaxed stay - 4 minute walk to the beach, big grocery stores, and buses that take you comfortably into the old town in 3-4 minutes. Enjoyed my stay- I would stay here again.
A really modern, clean and classy apartment. It is a short walk from Bacvice beach (although I can't recommend that beach!) but a little further from the centre, although still walkable.
We were met by Jadrana's son in law who was very gracious even though we were a bit later than agreed. THe apartment was air conditioned which was really important in the August heat, and had everything we needed including a washing machine.
We did not know what to expect with our first trip to Croatia but Jadranka was a great host. The apartment was clean and comfortable and well equipped and the AC was very nice on extremely hot day. Jadranka was very helpful.
The apartment also had two very unexpected bonuses. First it was situated right next door (literally under 50m) two superb restaurants and also a short walk to an even better restaurant (in our opinion anyway...it was called Konoba - try it...the Tomato soup was out of this world). The other unexpected bonus was this was the first apartment that we have ever stayed in that had a very sharp knife (and two of them would you believe! Every other place we have been has knives that are so blunt they won't cut anything so it was very nice.
It was also right next to a supermarket, many bars, beach, swimming pool and the hospital.
In summary it was a great apartment and location and Jadranka was a great host and highly recommended.
We loved this large roomy, comfortable apartment. It was in a quiet residential area, and the designated off road car parking spot was very good as we had a hire car.
Our hosts were very quick to respond to emails, and provided a detailed map so we could locate the apartment.
The apartment was within walking distance to the old city, the beach and a couple of great restaurants.
Beautiful apartment! Well located and fully equiped.
Jadranka and her husband was lovelly hosts. Can't be better, great choice!!
Jadranka's home is just awesome. Comfortable, cosy and very well appointed in terms of kitchenware and supplies. My partner Ray loves to cook and he has been very happy in this kitchen. The apartment is clean and has alot of cleaning supplies and linen provided. It is located about 20 minutes walk away from the town, a 5 minute walk from local grocery stores (victa),the seawall, tennis courts and he hospital. local eateries are within the area as well. It you need some advice on the local scene or places to eat, take a look at my travel blog called tashastraveltroves. I am on (website hidden) and (website hidden) as well. Jadrankra has also been an awesome host. She and her husband met us late at night on our arrival and had breakfast supplies ready for us. She has also been very communicative and helpful in terms of information needed regarding Split and the areas around. I certainly recommend her place as a rental in Split.
