Butterfly exhibit and breakfast included, 2 hectares of fabulous gardens full of colorful birds and a collection if stingless honey bees. Close to town. Forms part of a honey farm offering more than 24 types of honey, a great store and bee and honey tasting tours also part of a traditional Boquete Coffee Estate.

We can accommodate 4 px but booking price including breakfast is for 2px. We charge an additional $15 per person.

The space
Benefiting from being on the same property as the largest butterfly house in Panama @boquetebutterflies as well as the home farm for Miel Boquetena @boquetebees, pure raw Panamanian varietal and infused honey from the cloud forest.

The casitas are situated on beautiful traditional Boquete coffee Estate and gardens in the peaceful valley of the river Caldera, yet conveniently located close to the central town of boquete.

Extensive gardens focused on pollinators, lots of colorful birds, feeders and watching/photography opportunities. The cabins are close to native stingless bee hives with around 10 species of native melipona honey bees living on the farm.

Compared to other nature focused resorts we are conveniently located, close to town just 20 mins or 3 minute drive.

Included in your private cottage are the following:

-2 fully equipped queen sized beds
-en-suite bathroom with shower + towels/soap
-kitchenette with mini-fridge and sink
-coffee maker and basic kitchen utensils/cutlery
- Fibre optic Internet

Guests have access to the butterfly houses throughout their stay (during open hours) for a one time entry fee. The outdoor dining and living area is available in the evenings. Guests are also free to explore the gardens or do our famous honey tastings and native bee tours.

Guest access
We are only a quick 20 minute walk or 3 minute taxi ride to the central town of Boquete, as well as right down the road from two mini supermarkets. We still recommend hiring a car for exploring and having dependable transport.

Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: Staying with us WON'T be possible if you are allergic to bees. We are a working honey farm, and there's always the odd stray bee, especially during harvest.

We are a working farm and not suitable for younger kids.

We are also not suitable for disabled or limited mobility, as it is necessary to walk to our cottages along gravel paths. The butterfly exhibit is also a 100yd walk and the terrain is rustic farm paths.

My passion is bees and butterflies and their plants. I am especially interested in the different properties of plants (from perspective of bees and butterflies). I have an incredibly beautiful farm full of colorful birds, butterflies and native bee hives. I enjoy sharing my slice of paradise with nature lovers from around the world.
