Entire 1920s marina style HOUSE available in San Francisco's Excelsior neighborhood. This location is safe, quiet and mainly residential. Our house, is a great HOME BASE for families or larger size groups coming to enjoy San Francisco.
This Arts and Craft house is a spacious 1,270 square feet. It features a fully equipped kitchen, large formal dining room, one full bathroom and just added a second half bathroom,spacious and comfy living room, washer and dryer, dishwasher, WIFI, cable and flat screen Television. One parking spot, inside the garage, is provided and ample street parking, as well.
FEEL AT HOME: All three bedrooms have new Sealy Posturepedic beds, Two Queens and one Full that can easily accommodate 6 guests. The house is full of tasteful period piece furniture and artwork from several local artists. Refurbished in laid oak floors throughout, redwood deck with a BBQ, garden, and fully fenced in back yard. Forced air, central heating.
CONVENIENT: Ten minutes away from SFO. Both Highways 280 and 101 are within a mile. The Balboa BART station is also close, just over a half mile away. San Francisco is 7 miles by 7 miles. We are located a little further out, yet still close to everything.
WALK-ABILITY: Edinburgh St has a Walk Score of 86. This location is very walk able which means most errands can be accomplished on foot.
PUBLIC TRANSIT: This address has excellent transit and has a Transit Score of 83. There are 27 nearby routes: 15 buses and 12 rails. The closest transit routes are the Naples St & Italy Ave 54 FELTON, and Geneva Ave & Madrid St 43 MASONIC. Also, there (email hidden) bus line down Mission Street.
GOOD EATING: Near by in the neighborhood are a variety of cuisines, some inexpensive others are much fancier. Chinese, Thai, Italian, Japanese, American, Vietnamese......pretty much what ever suits your taste, you'll be able to find it here. Including, local Bars, coffee shops, a neighborhood library, Walgreen's, several Banks, large and small grocery stores.
EDUCATIONAL INTERESTS: SF State University and SF City College are with two miles.
FAMILY FRIENDLY: Our house is ideal for larger families, there is really a lot of common space. Both the Dining room and living room are large, comfortable and can seat up to ten family members with ease.
PET FRIENDLY: The backyard is completely fenced in. An off-leash dog park is located 5 minutes walk away. We Love animals, however, we also have a pet fee, so please be sure to mention your four legged friend when booking.
SUPERMARKETS/GROCERIES: Safeway is 6 blocks away and there are small corner markets on every block on mission.
We are also open to negotiate for extended stays and Seniors and Educators.
We provide all the towels and linens.
