Interaction with Guests
1 We always taking care of the apartments and the guests.I'm able to suggest how to book the museums for skipping the line and give good tips for restaurants.
My dear friend (English and Spanish speaker) is an official guide tour,after the booking I can give her contact.
An housekeeper is every day in the building for 3-4hr per day,from Monday to Friday,sometimes the week end too.
In the apartment the guest will find the house rules,Rome guide and map, tips for restaurants,public transportations,sightseeing.
The view of the Colisseum!
Monti neighborhood is well connected with public transportation (subway line B is 3 min walking by the building) and is an amazing place for spending a Roman holiday!
Other Things to Note
Close the windows and shutters when you are not in the apartment or during the night.
toliet paper is all you can through in the toilet.
All else goes in the waste basket;
please do no often use the washer/dryer and always turn off the electricity in the apartment,especially the A/C (the power is very expensive in Italy);
Please take the trash and put it in the bins located the next block by the building.
I appreciate yours help.
Great place, great location within a 5 min walk to colosseum.
We were a couple with one child.
There was only one bedroom & pull up couch in open kitchen dining. We didn't cook so was not a problem for us but I guess if I did would be a a hassle to get all the essentials needed to cook up a meal if staying for just a couple of days . Easy access to all the sites in Rome
Walking distance to all
We started our morning with coffee shop on corner, had lunch in the piazza in the hidden corner with vines & basically nice to go home after a long day of exploring.
Very courteous & helpful host.
Easy to find & all information provided when asked. I would recommend this place as great location. It does have a small elevator but very easy to access on small staircase to 2nd floor. Quiet at night & nice air conditioning for a comfortable sleep. We're not used to it but small shower...lol
Laura's apartment was beautiful. After being in Europe for two weeks (London and Paris) prior to Rome, it was a treat to finally have AC, a full sized stove, and a normal sized bathroom. Everything was extremely clean and neat. Laura even worked with us and allowed us to check in early as our train to Rome was very early in the morning. She also left a great map of Rome for us that was very helpful. You really can see the Colisseum from the doorway of the apartment building too, which was very exciting. The area itself was really nice. The one thing we wish we'd utilized was the rooftop lounge area that we'd had access to. When return to Rome we'll definitely come back to Laura's apartment, so hopefully next time we'll get up to the roof!
Everything was prefect for our short stay in Rome !! Location was great..walkable to the Metro,shops and Colosseum.Laura was extremely accomodating and very friendly.Was a great experience staying at her place.She was very prompt in replying and was very flexible.Would highly recommend !!!
We had the BEST stay at Laura's apartment in Rome. What a location! The apartment is in the most wonderful neighbourhood, RIGHT by the Coliseum (you can see it from the front door of the apartment) - but it didn't feel very touristy. On the same street are many lovely cafes, delis, wine shops, vintage shops... you'd never have to leave if you didn't want to! There is a lovely little piazza just across the road that is lovely to sit in with a glass of wine on a sunny day.
The apartment itself was lovely - extremely clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. The bed for the third person was not ideal, just a fold-up single bed, but our father didn't complain! The view from the rooftop is just gorgeous. The apartment is very quiet, we weren't disturbed at all (except for the singing at midnight on Easter Sunday, and that was just beautiful).
Laura was a wonderful host - she welcomed us into the apartment, drew us maps to wherever we wanted to go, called museums to see if they had any last-minute cancellations, arranged our taxis... she was just great! We felt so lucky to have stayed here. Highly recommended.
We had an excellent time in Rome thanks to Laura. She is extremely helpful and the flat is perfectly well located and well kept. Thanks Laura!
