Set in the stunning surroundings of the beautiful Gatine countryside, the property offers all the peace and tranquillity you desire to allow you to explore France. Part of the original coach house and workers cottages for Le Chateau de Fontenioux, this unique gite complex provides comfortable accommodation with excellent facilities, close to Puy du Fou and other local attractions. With accommodation for up to twelve people and a private pool it is the ideal place to relax for the whole family.

The space
This six bedroom, four bathroom property is designed to accommodate twelve guests. This can comprise of two doubles and four twin rooms, or three doubles and three twin rooms. Complete with two open plan living, dining areas, there are kitchens to the rear of each. There is an original wooden staircase leading to three bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom has a large en-suite shower room and there is a cosy snug area perfect for reading and taking in the stunning views. There is also a shower room in this part of the house and a work area.
There is a stylish spiral staircase leading to three further bedrooms on the first floor with a further shower room. There is also a shower room downstairs. The property comes complete with a private swimming pool and exclusive access to all outside facilities.

The village of Vernoux-en-Gatine is 2km away and offers a bar/restaurant, La Petite Noisette and an excellent award winning boulangerie. L'Absie and Secondigny are just 10 minutes away and both offer conveniences such as post offices, banks, bars and supermarkets. Secondigny also has a theatre. We are 30 minutes away from the historic town of Parthenay and 45 minutes away from Niort and Fontenay le Compte. All the local towns have traditional outdoor markets. We are also only 1 hour away from the theme parks of Puy de Fou and Futuroscope. Just over an hours drive away is the seaside resorts of La Rochelle and Ile de re.
