Prepare to fall in love with this inspired church hall conversion meticulously transformed into a breath-taking 3-bedroom retreat. Millfield is a town in the City of Cessnock municipality of New South Wales.

Millfield contains a general store and the historic Rising Sun Inn, which now operates as a museum. Mount View wineries, the start of the Hunter valley are only a 15 minute drive away, the town of Cessnock 12 minutes, and several lovely pubs and clubs within a 1 minute to 10 minute drive away. The general store/cafe/restaurant is only a few 100 meters from the property. The historic town of Wollombi with the famous Wollombi Tavern, the home of 'Dr Jurd's Jungle Juice' is only 20mins away along beautiful countryside. In Wollombi you will find several restaurants offering fantastic food as well as other shops and museums.

The Hall is on the doorstep of the Hunter Valley and the historic town of Wollombi, spend your day visiting the local wineries and eating beautiful food then return to the house and laze by the sparkling pool or enjoy the sunset over the mountains with a glass of one the local wines on the rear deck.

The Newcastle, Hunter Valley and surrounding areas are growing and thriving but still have a regional flavour. We've seen the region change and grow during our lifetime however it is still easy to get around - as we always say, there are about 6 different routes you can take to travel from one part to another. We love using the backstreets though because it is here that you can find a treasure.
