  • Was here for 3 nights in the red room, they were both super accommodating and laid back. The place is super neat and the backyard fire pit is great to chill and eat dinner. The other guests were also very nice :) overall great experience!

  • Graham and Maria's place in Soma was an absolute joy to stay in. The house is so charming, with the gorgeous wood floors, high ceilings and stunning decorating. Each room has a different feel, and the room I stayed in, the purple room, was the most comfortable and enjoyable room I've experienced through Airbnb so far! The bed is amazing. You literally sink into it, and in the mornings, wake up to fresh, beautiful morning light pouring in through the huge bay window.
The area is great. Sightglass coffee around the corner completely won me over - great for a morning takeaway or a long, lazy coffee afternoon.
Girls, if you're on your own, probably best to take a Lyft back at night, as up near Market St can be a bit sketchy. Once you're in Soma though, it's a very safe and lovely neighborhood.
Graham was my main host, as Maria was away. I cannot speak highly enough of him (and his beautiful dog Sophie) - Graham's so generous, warm, welcoming and artistic. He's one of the most interesting people I met on my trip.
Thanks guys for such an incredible introduction into your wonderful city of San Francisco!! I'll definitely be back.

  • Private hospitality perfection! :) Beautiful flat, equipped with everything you need. Lovely couple (although I unfortunately only met Maria digitally). The area is cool too!

  • Very nice place to stay. Graham is friendly and easy-going and the house is very well-kept. I enjoyed the big shared living room and the sunny fire escape off the kitchen. Separated toilet and shower rooms are smart and clean. The free red wine and beer were a nice touch too!

Would recommend the Teal Room for solo travelers.

  • Great stay. Everything worked really well. The key code entry made it a breeze to check in and check out without having to coordinate times and schedules. I was so busy I didn't even get to meet the owners properly but they were super helpful and prompt over email. The room was great - comfortable bed, nice linens etc.

    Couldn't have asked for more.

  • I stayed with Graham and Maria for almost a week and the place is wonderful. It's a beautiful house and the rooms are great. Graham is a great host and it's nice to have conversations with him, I haven't met Maria. It's not that far from Union Square, about 15-20 minutes by foot. I can definitely recommend it.

  • A nice place to stay in San Francisco. The location is convenient, the room is clean, quiet and comfortable. Would like to stay there again if I visit SF.

  • Absolutely fell in love with the place with all the small intricate detail and convenience around the neighborhood. Lots of great food, drink and place to see within walking distance. On top of that, Graham is really a great host to show me around the house. I could give a 6 stars if there’s an option to that.

  • The room was perfect for what i needed. A place to change and shower and lay my head at night. Good location with food and breweries only a few blocks away. Graham was very nice. No problems whatsoever. Would stay again.
