We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'Peaceful Cottage' County Mayo. Prior to our visit communication with our host was timely and efficient. The property managers met us in a nearby village and escorted us to the cottage. They were warm and welcoming giving us valuable information about the cottage itself as well as suggestions of what to see and do in the surrounding area. The cottage is set in the midst of picturesque Irish countryside, so tranquil and beautiful. We were surrounded by farms with curious cows, beautiful horses and luscious fields divided by ancient stone fences. The cottage itself is well built with good electrical and plumbing. The furnishings are somewhat tired but it has a homey feel. This property has great potential and with a few upgrades will be a gem.
