Le Marais ("The Marsh", French pronunciation: [maʁɛ]) is a historic district in Paris, France. Long the aristocratic district of Paris it hosts many outstanding buildings of historic architectural importance. It spreads across parts of the 3rd and 4th arrondissements in Paris (on the Rive Droite, or Right Bank, of the Seine).
The living room acts as a bedroom too, it has a super comfortable foldable bed and it's very quiet.

Amir responds fast when you communicate with him. He has a helper (Juhn) who met us at the apartment and explained everything and gave us the keys.
The apartment is nice but smaller than appears in the presentation. There was sleeping room for the six of us but it gets very crowded and it is two bunk beds that sleeps two each and a sofa bed that also sleeps two. Three to four guests is probably a better number.
The kitchen works fine at least for breakfast which is what we used it for. There is also also a washing machine which we used and it was perfectly fine.
The area is nice with a selection of restaurants, bars and shopping. There is a square on the next block that is full of restaurants. The St Paul metro station is within 4-5 min walk and there are two bakeries and two supermarkets within the same range. All very convenient!
We had a great time in Paris and Amir's apartment was a good choice for us.
The Pros - the location of the apartment is excellent. Very close to the Seine river and St Paul subway stop. Also within walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louvre, and the neighborhood is good with many restaurants and shops you can visit.
The Cons - There was an odor in the apartment that wouldn't go away even after leaving the windows open. Also, there were times early in the morning when there would be no hot water.
I also wouldn't recommend this apartment for 4 or more people because it is not very spacious. There is only one bunk bed (top and bottom) and the couch can fit one or two people max.
Overall, the apartment is in a great location and neighborhood and could be very suitable for a small group who is mainly focused on sightseeing. However I cannot give more than 3 stars due to the odor and the hot water issue.
Incredible location near the best of the le marais district. The apartment had everything we needed and was a great base for our Paris holiday. Juhn met us at the apartment when we arrived and was lovely, thank you Juhn.
My husband and I stayed in Amir's apartment for 10 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is very comfortable, and spacious enough for two people for a long stay. You could sleep four in the bedroom (kids would love the loft bunk) for a shorter stay, and the couch in the living room is also a bed for two. The location of the apartment is outstanding! Close to St.Paul's metro stop, walking distance to Place des Voges, The Louvre, countless cafes, boulangeries, markets, shops, etc. Amir was super responsive and helpful if we had any questions before and during out stay, (all e-mail contact) and had his partner meet us with the keys on our arrival. There were a couple of housekeeping issues that needed attention. We needed a few more cooking dishes, kitchen dish towels, and replacement light bulbs, as we were staying for a long time, and Amir took care of these for us. The coffee maker and kettle appeared to be brand new, which was nice. The microwave is an older model, but it worked fine. Having the in-suite washer and drying rack was very convenient and there is also a Laundromat within a block if you need a dryer. We took a couple of train trips on the TGV (Train Grand Vitesse) during our stay, and the ticket agency (SNCF) was right across the street (you can also book online). Being right on the metro made it easy to get to the train stations. I would stay here again. Thanks Amir!
Very good location, which was our primary reason for choosing this apartment. We stayed 5 girls and the Apartment was quite small. The beds were not that comfortable. All in all i would say that this apartment is good for a short stay in Paris, where you do not expect to spend much time inside.
Amir was wonderfully responsive, clear and concise with his communication....which I feel is extremely important! We were met out front of his place exactly on time, escorted in and had everything we needed explained. Everything worked smoothly, was clean and as depicted in the photos. I can't wait to return!
This flat is located in a prime location. The flat was not as pristine and clean as the photos on Airbnb. No clean white bedding, no bedding on the top bed, more furniture that made it feel a bit cluttered. We stayed for the great location but the place needs some tidying up to match the images currently posted.
My family and I had a great time in Paris. The apartment has a great location - Le Marais is the perfect area. The apartment was clean, and a great place to stay for the weekend :)
Amir was quick in response and in organising key pickup. The flat itself wasn't quite as advertised though as it is technically only 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom (with seperate WC) as there is only 1 shower, 1toilet and 1 basin but the toilet happens to be seperate room. The fact that the sofa acts as a bed doesn't make it a second bedroom so the advertised 2 bed is misleading.
Unfortunately there was no toaster ( if you want toast ) and the kettle was broken and our local contact told us to use the stovetop instead so those were the only inconveniences.
The location was good in a lovely district so very convenient.
The apartment was a little bit small for a 5 person family, but was comfortable and its location is the best.
Amir was nice when communicated with and responded fast for every question and problems we had.
