Wonderful! Was a great experience, Maite and Javi were very good hosts. The flat is less than 5 min from metro, and in half an hour you get to Times Square. Very spacious room, very comfortable bed and a kitchen at your disposal. we return! thank you very much for everything guys! muchas gracias por todo chicos!!
Everything worked smoothly. Maite & Javi were super nice and hospitable. The location is great with a lot of restaurants and coffee shops around and the Brooklyn Museum across the street. Easy transportation with two subway stops nearby. The apartment is nice and very clean and the room had everything I needed. Since the room is right by the entrance door and the bathroom and kitchen are adjacent, you can have a great deal of privacy. Highly recommended.
Maite and Javi's place is great and we can very much recommend staying there. Good location (close to two Subway stations), nice room, big and with good closet space, good mattress (more on the hard side, which I prefer), clean bathroom etc. We were out and about alot so we didn't see Maite and Javi that much, but when we did, they were very nice and helpful!
Maite and Javi were warm and gracious hosts. The space was clean and comfortable and afforded the right amount of privacy. The building is located very close to the subway and is located in a great part of Brooklyn.
It was such a pleasure to live in the appartement for a few days. The plants give such a fresh Spirit to the Home. Everything was clean and confortable (especially the bled !!!). The doorman is very Friendly and the subway is just the Way around. I really want to thank my hosts for trusting me. Next time in New York city, i already Know where i'll go.
Maite & Javi are great hosts! I had a wonderful experience at their place and it was lovely meeting these two incredibly kind, interesting, and creative individuals. They are considerate, easy- going and very accommodating - highly recommend.
We had a very relaxed stay at Maite & Javi´s place. The building is really beautiful inside and the room is actually bigger than you might guess from the pictures and very nice. The bed is really comfy, the whole flat was nice, clean and quiet. Maite & Javi are excellent hosts and were very helpful whenever we had a question. Subway station is 2 minutes away and if you like to go running - prospect park is just down the street. A lovely place - we highly recommend to stay there!
My holidays in Maites et Javi's flat was very nice. It's a very good place near several subway's lines, nears museums, park, restaurants. The area is quiet.
And Maite and Javier are very friendly.
I recommend them and their flat.
Thank you very much for your kindness
I booked Maite and Javi's room on behalf of B., a writer friend travelling to NYC for the Brooklyn Book Festival. They were unfailingly nice and helpful during the booking process, and very hospitable hosts.
The room was perfectly comfortable, from B.'s account, and Maite and Javi made her feel at home. The location is also wonderful, in the middle of my favourite Brooklyn neighbourhood.
B, their guest, sends this note:
"Very comfortable, bright & sunny room in well-kept building in great location: opposite Brooklyn Museum and easy walking distance to Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and Prospect Park. Two minutes to subway station and to neighbourhood shops and restaurants.
"Hosts friendly, interesting young couple. Very accommodating and welcoming yet allowing the guest space and privacy. My six-night stay was a home-away from-home experience.
"If I ever again need a place to stay in Brooklyn, Maite & Javi's apartment would be my first choice."
Maite& Javi are excellent hosts! The apartment is in a safe neighborhood in Brooklyn and very close to a couple of subway stations. You can be in downtown Manhattan in 35 minutes. The room is very spacious and they are nice enough to let you use their kitchen. The apartment is always very clean and if the weather is right, you can always sneak up to the roof using the fire stairway and you will have a fantastic view of the Brooklyn Museum and the Manhattan skyline. there is a supermarket where you can get groceries a couple of blocks away on Franklin Avenue.
We would not hesitate to stay at their place for our next trip to NY. We recommend them 100%.
