Thank you guys for having us! we felt very much at home(although we were mostly out and bout in town). The room is lovely: spacious, clean, with two wardrobes, a very comfy bed, a armchair and even a table with snacks and juice that welcomed us. The bathroom was very clean and tidy as well.
There was a lot of space in the fridge for us to use and also the kitchen was very well equipped.
its close to different subways lines, the Brookylin Museum, the prospect park(even with a zoo and a roller skaing rink!!!) and around the corner there are great palces for breakfast or a little drink. It was all PERFECT! Thank you also for the late checkout! (We asked for a late check out as we had a late flight out, and we were granted with a smile. )
Maite and Javi are a very friendly couple and very helpful. Thank you for all! We would definitly stay at their house again: anytime!
Oh that was nice!!!
The room was perfect for us. It was very clean, nicely furnished with plenty of space for our clothes. The bathroom was also very clean and no problem at all that we shared it with the both of them. We didn't use the kitchen at all but we would have if we weren't so busy following the great breakfast and dinner advices Javi was providing us with. Following the fire ladder (damn, I know we weren't supposed to) you have a great view on Broooklyn Museum and on Manhatten, too.
If the both of us let us, we would definatelly stay there again next time we are around. Maite and especially Javi who we were in contact with are such great hosts. They even had welcome snacks for us. Yeih! What a peaceful and nice space! And damn right it is ideal for couples.
The area is great with tiny shops, tiny bars and tiny restaurants. Even if it's not the liveliest in the night time I would want to live there, too if I moved to NYC. Everythings is good to reach, except for Greenpoint or Williamsburg but they are just a 15$ cab ride away so it's fine not to get there by metro without changing trains like 3 or 4 times or walking 25 minutes through the park.
Thanks for having us!!
Maite and Javi were wonderful hosts who are very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and we were made very welcome. The location is fantastic for the Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. It is close to several subway locations. Thoroughly recommended and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Maite and Javi's place is great! Its clean, tidy, in an amazing location and with very friendly people! The bed is firm but I loved it. Everything else in the apartment is well maintained and as expected. I didn't get to spend much time with Maite and Javi, our schedules were different, but when I did see them they were kind, friendly and very welcoming. Access was very easy and I felt very comfortable with them. The local area is great, with some terrific bars and restaurants around... Tookey Alley being my favorite... great cocktails (my last night is somewhat of a blur). This was my first AirBnB experience and was slightly apprehensive about it, but Maite and Javi made the whole process incredibly easy, and I will definitely be repeating it soon. If I'm ever heading to Brooklyn or NYC, I'll definitely try and stay here again. Many thanks guys.
Maite and Javi were kind host and made me totally relaxed. Their place has everything a traveler needs for a short stay. The location of their place is superb for a person like myself (age 73). I could walk back from the Brooklyn Museum and rest my legs and go back to continue another few hours in the Botanical Garden.
Thank you for sharing part of your home Maite and Javi. Yoko Wong
Maite and Javi are excellent hosts. They have been always ready to help and they gave us excellent suggestions for visiting NYC and Brooklyn. The room is big, comfortable and very clean. The whole apartment is charming and well located in front of the subway and the Brooklyn Museum. The neighborhood is safe and has everything you need to enjoy a great night after a day spent visiting Manhattan: nice restaurants, coffee shops, bars. Maite and Javi provided us with a list of excellent places which was extremely helpful. I would definititly recommend their place! Muchas gracias Maite & Javi.
Wonderful! Was a great experience, Maite and Javi were very good hosts. The flat is less than 5 min from metro, and in half an hour you get to Times Square. Very spacious room, very comfortable bed and a kitchen at your disposal. we return! thank you very much for everything guys! muchas gracias por todo chicos!!
