im renting out my 2 room appartment including a living room, bedroom with balcony, bathroom, kitchen in a very central location in Berlin. Its only a 4 min walk to the train station Hackescher Markt, 2 min to the subway at Rosenthaler Platz and 2 minutes to the tram.
The overnight fee is 40 € per person per night. Each additional person pays an extra of 20 €.
The apartment is on the 7th Floor (lift) in an East German style building. The bedroom is facing the backyard and is very quiet. From the adjoining balcony you have a magnificent view over the rooftops of Berlin and from there you can watch the beautiful sunsets. It is a casual student flat and is very comfortable. It is possible to accommodate up to four people, as the sofa in the living room can be turned into a bed. Two people can sleep in the bedroom (double bed). The bathroom is equipped with a bath tub, shower and a washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped.
There is a small supermarket in the same building which is open daily until 8.30 pm. Furthermore, there is a bike rental nearby. Several cafes, bars, clubs and restaurants are just around the corner. The Museum Island is accessible by foot in 10 minutes as well as the Alexanderplatz.
Nina is super friendly, and we had a great time staying at her apartment! We loved the location, as well.
I didn't get to meet Nina, but enjoyed the wonderful location and tranquility of her apartment. I was there June 2013, and thanks to the nice weather was out most of the time, but it was delightful to come back there in the evenings and have a bird's eye view over a serene garden. Pretty orange and green color scheme in the living room.
The few minor wrinkles in the experience were:
--a strange smell which I couldn't identify which would have been problematic had the windows not been open while I was in there;
--some confusion over what things were for guest use, e.g. which towels to use and which were already in use;
--there is nowhere to hang a dress or jacket on a hanger, and no drawer to unpack anything into;
--bedding is slippery synthetic and tended to shoot off the bed overnight.
--on one occasion some kids caught the door and followed me into the building; I wasn't sure if they lived there or not. I suspected not and declined to enter the elevator first. I just stood in the lobby and watched their behavior while they waited for me to go somewhere. I decided to see how they would react to a torrent of confounding tourist questions in English and eventually they left in frustration. I don't think they were dangerous, but didn't want them following me to the apartment.
Overall the experience of staying there was positive, and the location unbeatable.
Great apartment, great location, coolest neighborhood. Grocery store on the first floor, walk to the big museums. Walk north and east for all the cool shops. Nina, thanks so much to your and your friend for meeting us, coffee machine, etc. We would gladly stay there again. - Jon
Nina is a lovely person. Thank you for your welcome, advice and availability. Nina In accommodation, you can enjoy the tranquility. It's in a nice neighborhood, and very well located for Berlin.
My wife and I had a great time in Berlin, and Nina's apartment was part of this. Great location, walking distance to many points of interest, train and tram close by and cool streets around. The apartment is big enough, and gives a 'home like' feeling. Nina is very nice, waited for our late arrival without any problem and was ready to help anytime.
Nina's communication was absolutely fantastic. Her friend Katrina patiently waited to let us in when we were late arriving from the airport, and stepped us through all the information Nina had left about the apartment. The apartment was wonderful! Clean, spacious and with a warm homely feel. We would highly recommend Nina and her apartment.
Nina is very welcome host! she explained us everything, check is was early morning - she agreed that without problem. kitchen is full of all necessary staff so you could cook yourself. view from balcony is good also. the location is almost ideal for walking around the city center. THANKS a lot, Nina!~
The apartment is very central in Berlin Mitte and near the TV tower. It's an old but very charming apartment and I felt like home from the first day on. ;) There is only wired internet available in the flat but the "St. Oberholz" internet bar is just a 2 minute walk away.. Nina is a great person and when I arrived she took her time to get to know each other while having a beer. Many thanks!
The place was really great and can easily accomodate 4 people. Must say I was like a prince all alone in here.
Very close to Aleksander Platz and the museum island. and with plenty of good places to shop, eat, drink nearby.
Nina was really kind, welcoming and helpful, providing good spots nearby.
Definitely a great place to stay !
Very nice apartment in one of the best neighborhoods of Berlin, very central and quiet at the same time. The bedroom has a very nice little balcony, beautifully sun exposed during all the afternoon. I definitely recommend the place. And Nina was very nice and helpful.
