B&Bilia it's located in the historical centre of Rome, really close to Vatican's museums and S.Peter's church.
The A metro station “Ottaviano” is only 2 minutes walking.
By this way, it's possible to reach Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, the Pantheon, the Colosseum and the Imperial fora in a few minutes.
You can arrive by metro without taking a taxi. From Termini's central station (connected with airports through train and bus) you only have to take the A metro, and go down after six stops, at “Ottaviano-S.Pietro” station.
The apartment, with high ceilings and very bright rooms, is located at the fourth floor of a typical building from 1900's (with elevator), and looks on to a silent street and a characteristic courtyard.
The quarter is quiet and full of services: shops (via Cola di Rienzo, 5 minutes walking, it's one of the principal shopping street) restaurants, pizzerias, and a beautiful cover market from 1900.
The apartment comprises a big living room, a kitchen, two rooms (with external bathroom to share) and my private room.
By request, is it possible to host a fifth person on a folding bed.
The kitchen is for private use only, but it's possible to utilize the fridge and eventually to heat up something.
The bathroom has a comfortable shower of 70x80cm. Every guest has his towels.
The rooms have their linen and covers.
There is no air conditioning, because of the big wall (60cm wide) that provide a good thermal insulation. Anyway, there's a fan in every room.

Have a nice time in Rome!
We stayed here for two nights and Cecilia was such a great host. We felt very welcome and she helped us in all ways she could. The location is awesome (just a 8 min walk to the Vatican) and the appartment itself is great. It has such a antique cool vibe going on.
Thanks! I wouldn't mind staying here again :)
Cecilia was a wonderful host and her apartment is beautiful, just as it is in the photos. A lovely breakfast was laid out every morning for whatever time suits with fruits, yoghurt, cereal, toast, biscuits, tea, coffee… She was extremely helpful and gave me the use of a guide book, in which she'd written recommended places to visit and to eat and they were some of the best meals I have ever tasted! Cecilia even let me borrow an umbrella when it rained and was very flexible about check in/out. The only thing that wasn't quite perfect was the shower, which was sometimes temperamental in temperature. And it would have been nice to have a duvet instead of blankets when it's cold. But all in all, a lovely stay and it made it a very pleasant holiday.
We enjoyed a wonderful stay in Cecilias Apartment. Unfortunately she was a little busy so we couldnt get to know each other very well but still she was very carring and always there if we had questions or anything. The breakfast was always already prepared in the evening so that we could have our breakfast when ever we wanted. Even when i wasnt feeling well Cécilia offered me a Tea. The Location of the Apartment is just 2 Minutes from the Subway and in a nice area with a lot of Restaurants and very close to the Vatikan. I can highly recomment a stay in that Apartment and really apreachiate Cecilias hospitality:-)
A beautiful room in a beautiful apartment right next to the Vatican.
Ideal location and Cecilia is a wonderful hostess.
Cecilia was such a good host. Great room and area. Would highly recommend her for anyone regargless of length of stay. Location is close to Metro and easy walk to several sites.
Great location, walking distance to the Vatican. Cecilia was a great host. The place was clean, there was a small problem with the water draining on the shower but Cecilia promptly took action to fix it. She was very nice to print us some tickets for the Vatican Museum which we bought online. She gave us a map with great places to eat. Everyone we tried was good!
Cecilia was a great host, place is very nice, recommend staying here to explore the Vatican.
Lovely location, lovely apartment. Nice comfortable bed and to top it all Cecilia is a darling. Very highly recommended.
Sunny apartment in a beautiful, elegant and just a perfect area. Love it so much! Cecilia is a wonderful and charming person. Highly recommended.
Cecilia was SUPER kind to wait for us to check in - we were arriving from Civitavecchia into Rome as we just finished our week long cruise so it took us about 3 hours to arrive in by train - it took way longer than we expected! So we felt really terrible in making Cecilia wait for us. But she waited patiently even though she had to rush to work in the morning. Her directions were easy to understand in how to find her place. She provided us a well written guide about suggested restaurants to eat at. We went to this wonderful seafood restaurant called, 'il Bar Sotto il Mare' - SO GOOD! Her B&B was super close to the Ottoviano Metro stop, which is close to the Vatican Museums as stated. It's only about 8 mins to the museum doors. Her accomodations are exactly what the photos show! Excellent access to wi-fi.The breakfast was tasty, and she was a great hostess. She even caught a cold and felt ill the next day, but she was very polite and friendly to answer our questions. We could tell that she cared about our well-being. The place is clean and the washroom was great to use. We were happy to stay here and would recommend it to others to consider. Great price too.
Where do I even begin! Cecilia's place is like a dream. Not only is her place beautiful, Cecilia makes you feel like she's one of your friends that you've known for awhile and you're just there to stay a couple nights. A really lovely lady.
The location is key. Its a couple of blocks from the Metro, and about a 5-10 minutes walk to St. Peter's Basilica and The Vatican Museum. She also gave us a handy pamphlet listing all the local places to eat, food shops/bars, where to go for the night life, etc. Definitely try the restaurant il Ragno d'Oro, 5 min or so away. Yum! And the people there are so nice too. The area and neighborhood are safe, so no worries about strolling around late at night.
Cecilia's breakfast was great too! She has an espresso machine (very necessary for me), cereal, toast, jam, tea, and other goodies that were a great way to start our day. Feel free to lounge about in her gorgeous living room too. Its so easy to feel relaxed and comfortable at her place. If we ever go back to Rome, I'll definitely stay here again. Cecilia is a blessing and I love her! :)
