About this listing
Private en-suite guest room with 19 feet tall ceiling, mezzanine and private bathroom. This fully decorated and furnished suite is ideally located on a quiet street in Old Rosemont, near the Botanical Gardens and the Olympic Stadium. Masson street is just one block away, with its restaurants, cafés, shops, microbrewery and convenience stores.
We've furnished this open concept studio with a desk, antique armoire, queen size bed, sofa bed (futon), bar fridge, coffee machine, microwave oven, TV, bed linens, towels, hairdryer, iron & ironing board.
Features: air-conditioning, private bathroom, free Internet access, free parking, ATM machine (not kidding).
Two brass doors separates the room from the rest of the house and will stay closed for the duration of your stay. Guests have their own keys and a private entrance to the suite.
A free parking space is available in the back. We recommend using public transportation, since we can easily get to the Pie-IX metro station via the express bus (139) or the Laurier station with bus 47 (Masson). Bixi bikes are also used for a relaxing ride in the Parc Maisonneuve or on the bicycle paths throughout the city.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for almost a week, and truly enjoyed Luc's hospitality. Luc even invited us to Carolyn's jazz show (although we unfortunately couldn't make it).
Everything is neat and just as described. The place is a little far from the downtown for my liking, but the Olympic Stadium is just a few bus stops away, and it was great having a swim in the same pool as the Olympians.
I'd stay here again if I visited Montreal next time. Privacy, coziness, cleanliness, hospitality... Luc's place gets my 5 stars for sure!
This was my second stay. Everything was just as wonderful as before. The location is perfect for anywhere you would like to go in Montreal. Luc and Carolyn are wonderful. The pastries were wonderful, coffee was provided as well as bottled water and fruit juice. I can not stress this enough, you will LOVE this place. I plan on staying here again in October (Festival of Lanterns). This will always be my first choice when visiting Montreal. Oh yeah, We had a wonderful home cooked meal with the host (food was awesome). They are wonderful people. Thanks again Luc and Carolyn. See you soon.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent and walking distance to the Botanical Gardens and Metro. Luc was an excellent host, down to earth, helpful and very friendly. He offered advice on what to do and where to go. I had such a wonderful time that I misplaced my passport. I did eventually find it; I was truly impressed that Luc had already put together a plan to help me get to the U.S Consulate to get another passport.
The unit itself is beautiful and wonderfully unique. The bed was extremely comfortable and the unit itself was very clean. We enjoyed our stay here and both agreed that it was much better than staying in a hotel. I felt as if I was at home. This is the place to stay in Montreal. Wonderful city, wonderful location, wonderful unit and wonderful hosts.
A perfect way to begin our Quebec vacation. Luc and Carolyn were such wonderful hosts, providing lots of advice, literature, and maps about the city. We were a little worried that the apartment would be too far from the main tourist areas, but the bus and metro were only at most 3 blocks away. A super experience.
Luc is a fantastic host and I can't recommend staying at his place highly enough! His place is very convenient to the bus/metro and to the Botanical Gardens & Biodome.
Luc offered to drive us to the metro stop to get our passes and even left us pastries in our room from a local bakery, he really went above and beyond.
Nice quiet neighborhood and I'd totally stay here again the next time we're up in Montreal.
Room looks exactly as it does in the pictures. The bathroom is on the first floor so midnight bathroom runs were a bit difficult because of the spiral staircase. Other than that a very cozy and CLEAN place for two people to stay comfortably. Luc is extremely nice and had the fridge stocked with water and juice before we arrived. Coffee machine (and coffee) and hot pot for tea were also available for use along with a microwave and fridge. Plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.
This is where you should stay in Montreal. Luc and Carolyn were incredibly warm and friendly people. They gave us great advice when we got there. The room is super clean, nicely decorated and spacious -- and the location is good too! We had an absolutely lovely time in Montreal and I'm so glad this is where we stayed.
About the Host, Luc
My wife and I have been living in Montreal for most of our lives. Whether you are a new visitor or not, we are happy to point you to our city’s tourist sites and personal favorites. We are fluently bilingual (English and French), and my wife, Carolyn, speaks Tagalog. If you need anything during your stay, you will usually find me working in my photo studio located next door. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
