Our home has a great location in a quiet relaxing neighborhood within level walking distance of beach access where you will step out to 7 miles of sand with the famous Twin Rocks as a stunning backdrop to incredible sunsets. On the way you will see the Community Garden. Take a moment to drop a penny on the train tracks or take a walk through the Cedar Preserve as you explore. Many local attractions are a short distance away including the Tillamook Cheese Factory, the ever famous Flamingo Jims gift shop, great thrift stores, & fishing/clamming/crabbing in our local waters. There are many dining options are available, some are seasonal. Rest assured when you come back from a day of exploring you will find all the comforts you need at Dream by the Sea to relax. A place to build memories.

The house will welcome you with 3 bedrooms, cable TV, a wood-stove, 3 bath rooms (1 w/Jacuzzi tub), and three living areas so everyone has space to spread out. The great room up stairs has a TV, 2 futon sleepers, a desk work space & a table where you can play games or assemble puzzles. It also feature as bathroom w/stall shower as well as a mini fridge & microwave. Perfect for making popcorn & stocking beverages for movie or game night.

Downstairs the sun room has a table for dining or working as well as a futon for sleeping. The front living room off the kitchen has cable TV, a wood-stove & is open to the kitchen area for conversations as you cook up some coastal meals. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishwasher, microwave & basic pantry items for your use. There are 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms on this level. All linens are provided.

I am originally from Alaska, where I grew up on an island in SE Alaska, aka the famous Inside Passage where all the cruise ships go...love cruising. That is probably where I got my itch to travel. There are only two ways off an island, boat or plane. Luckily those long dark winters give you lots of time to think of other places to be. So now, I am trying to get to all the ones I can remember, places others have recommended, and have found a few more destinations to add to the list.
I am now an Alaskan transplanted to the beautiful Oregon Coast for the past, wow 20+ years now. It reminds me of home, only with the benefits of cheaper airline tickets, and the ability to get in the car and drive more than 20 miles..on pavement too.
I have lived in Nehalem, Or for the past 20+ years and just love being on the Oregon coast. The Nehalem Bay area & N Oregon coast is an incredible place to live, for us lucky few, and to visit. There is great hiking, fishing, beach combing, restaurants, shopping, and tons more to do here all while having the stunning Pacific Ocean to the west and the Coastal Mnt Range to the east.

Loves to travel for new smells, sounds, food, people, and language. My favorite places include Palm Springs, Barbados, Vegas, and anywhere in France, Greece, or Spain and am adding Portugal (added June '14). Dying to go to Brazil, Maldives, Morocco, Istanbul, Dubai and_________ (fill in the blank).
