Luxury tents have always been an important part of Rajput lifestyle. Constant campaigns in far flung lands meant long stays in tents under inhospitable conditions. Tents were the only luxury available and soon these “homes away from home” evolved into mobile, mini-palaces.

Dining is a special affair at Chhatra Sagar, be it
in the dining tent overlooking the lake or by the
campfire under a canopy of stars.
Traditional recipes for the meals have been in use for generations and are prepared in the family kitchen using
fresh farm produce.
All tents face east overlooking the lake and have private sit outs offering panoramic views. Each tent is carefully hand stitched with interiors block printed in traditional floral motifs. They are spacious, comfortably furnished with locally crafted furniture, and have well appointed private facilities. Two of the tents are set atop a hill providing complete privacy and a breathtaking 360 degree view.
The camp has 11 guest tents on the dam and two on the hill. The camp organises farm & village visits and conducts bird watching tours.With a checklist of over 200 species,

trails that have been offered back to nature.

The tariff is inclusive of all three meals, all non-alcoholic beverages, village tour by jeep/bird watching tour and sundowners. The Camp is operational from 1st October till 31st March. It is closed during summer and monsoon months.
