Welcome to Annie’s Place! Enjoy the sights and sounds of our family winery and vineyard, as well the relaxation of being in the country.
Annie was my aunt and one of the founding members of Sandhill Crane Vineyards. She loved pouring wine for our guests, and they loved her wit and sass! We frequently enjoyed sitting on her porch sipping on a glass of wine or a cocktail. Annie passed away in 2022 but her memory lives on with her family and everyone who loved her. Have a toast to Annie!

The space
Annie's Place is an apartment attatched to a larger home, the apartment and the pool are completely private. This beautiful, serene bungalow has been completely renovated and has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room with dining space, bedroom with queen bed, luxurious bathroom, enclosed porch, heated indoor pool and outdoor space with grill and fire pit.
Annie's Place is on grounds of Sandhill Crane Vineyards, a working winery and vineyard! The winery often has large festivals, events and live music. Check our website for events!

We live in the other part of the house. We give our guests their complete privacy, but we are available if you need us ! ** We do have pets that you may hear, including 2 parrots that can be noisy! One of them does a smoke dector sound, so don't be alarmed! You will see our goats as you drive up, they are very friendly! We have dogs, cats and birds. Some of our cats are outdoor barn cats that you may see. Annie's Place (including the pool) will always be locked and private for our guests. All windows from the pool to our part of the house are covered.

*PLEASE NOTE: ANNIE'S PLACE IS SET UP FOR TWO PEOPLE ONLY. NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS ARE ALLOWED TO STAY IN THE APARTMENT OR USE THE POOL AT ANY TIME! AIRBNB GUESTS ALLOWING EXTRA GUESTS, PARTIES OR EVENTS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.

Please respect quiet hours from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

No pets are allowed at this time. Our pets can be uncomfortable and anxious when they hear other animals in the building. We feel it's best for all involved to have a no pet policy.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire apartment, heated pool, enclosed porch, deck and yard.

Other things to note
Annie's Place is country living at its best! You will see and hear wildlife such as deer, rabbits, wood chucks, many species of birds and, of course, Sandhill Cranes! You will be greeted by our goats as you drive up!
It is on well and septic, so please only flush natural waste and toilet paper. The water is safe to drink, but we also provide bottled water for your convenience. To avoid unwanted pests, please don't leave food or garbage out. There is a large dumpster behind the barn for trash and recycle bins along the side of the barn for metal, paper and hard plastic.
The property is a working vineyard, please be respectful of our grapes as they are needed to make our wine! The winery can be busy during hours of operation, you can expect activity and noise (especially on weekends). You are welcome to spend time enjoying our wine, beer, cider and delicious café food!
The private heated pool is available for guests of Annie's Place only. We provide pool floats and an air pump, you are also welcome to bring your own.
