This is a comfy and spacious 2 bedroom apartment located in the center of Hong Kong. There's a big master bedroom where you can view the light show from the bed! There's a rain shower, a cute kitchen with a small oven and washing machine. Bright large open plan living and dining room with dining table. Loads of natural light. It's a very quiet and homely space!
Located in a peaceful area with a brand new MTR station (Sai Ying Pun) only 2 min walk away. A short taxi ride to IFC (Central), Hollywood Road, Lan Kwai Fong, Soho & Shun Tak Ferry Terminal to Macau, hiking track to the peak, bus ride direct to Stanley Market, Ocean Park, Repulse Bay.
Sai Ying Pun has a down to earth small village feel town, with friendly local bars and plenty of restaurant to choose from (good value for money). It's just outside the hustle and bustle but also not too far removed.
Located opposited an HSBC, a Park'n'Shop and various restaurants. 10 minutes walk from the mid-levels escalator with various means of public transport nearby.
Steph's place was great for exploring Hong Kong and feeling more like a local than a tourist. It has a brand new MTR station across the road which made it so simple to get around (the MTR system is heads and shoulders above the Aussie system!) Steph was easy to communicate with and helped me out with tips and tricks for the stay. There are some great places to eat around the apartment and a multiple supermarkets if you want to pick up some food to cook yourself (not that we did this because the food in Hong Kong is to die for!)
The only suggestion I would have for people staying here is to ask your taxi drivers to take you to Bonham Street (or Bonham Tao in Chinese) when heading to the apartment as they are not familiar with the lane it is located one. Once we cracked this we had no problems.
Highly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a clean, tidy and conveniently located place in Hong Kong.
Our host left a greeting card welcoming us as well as Christmas mince pies as a treat. The location of the flat is very good and there are various modes of public transport nearby. The flat itself was cozy just big enough for the two of us plus a teenage son. A family with two young children could also fit, but things would have been tight with two adult size kids.
The reservation was canceled 17 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Stephanie's apartment is very cosy, wonderfully designed and effectively organized. Location is quite convenient, close to Soho and Victoria Peak if you enjoy walking. View from the windows is spectacular, especially from the double sleeping room!
Stephanie herself is very attentive and helpful, one of the best hosts we've met!
We would definitely come again when we visit Hong Kong :)
The apartment was so cute and cozy ! It is just like it is described, and the views were fantastic! In the neighborhood there is a 7-11, very convenient for snacks and drinks. Down the escalator just across the street, there is a great new place to eat Jaspas, we had breakfast there twice. There is a bus stop just out the front door. The elevator worked great and whisked us up 27 stories nice and quick! We didn't cook or do laundry, but could have. Nice A/C--the apt. cooled down very quickly and was very comfortable and quiet. We didn't get to meet Stephanie, but communicated via e-mail. wifi worked perfectly...Great apt.!!!
Stephanie is a really nice host although I didn't have a chance to meet her. However, even though she was away from Hong Kong, I still got very detailed information about this apartment from her. The apartment was clean, artsy(which I was happiest about), and very cosy. I also like those books on the bookshelf. The apartment makes people feel like they are still in home. I'd be glad to rent this place next time!
I've booked Stephanie's place during Art Basel HK. However, I couldn't make my trip to HK and my friends stayed without me. It is nice place to say with friends and I will try her place in my next trip to HK.
Hello world!! I'm an events manager and I've lived in Hong Kong for over 15 years. In addition to shopping and cooking, I also enjoy swimming and doing pilates! I live with my boyfriend who loves football and works for an online lifestyle directory.
