St Kilda is a remarkable place. It is situated on one of the most picturesque points of the Bay a short distance from the city, has safe sandy beaches
St Kilda is home to a number of elegant gardens and reserves. There are the 6½ hectare heritage-listed Botanical Gardens just east of Barkly Street and the O'Donnell Gardens with its towering palm streets located right next to Luna Park. Much of St Kilda's coastline is also lined with gardens, stretching from the formal Catani Gardens along Beaconsfield Parade southwards to open expanses of lawn fronting the golden sands of St Kilda's (website hidden) Kilda is good base for exploring all that Melbourne has to offer. The city centre is just a short tram trip away, while the surrounding beachside suburbs of Middle Park, Albert Park and Elwood are within easy (website hidden) Kilda is also adjacent to Albert Park Lake which is surrounded by sporting facilities, parkland, a network of walking and bicycle tracks, and is home to the annual Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Nelson Street is a one way street so if driving enter from Punt Road.
On the odd occasion if I can not meet you, sometimes with flight delays or in an emergency, I will leave the key fob in the letterbox of no. 6 to let your selves in .( note bed is hidden in the wall)
Exactly as described and fit my needs great. She was quick to respond to questions. I would stay here again.
We had a comfortable stay at Karen's place. She was always keeping in touch with us even though she was overseas and her daughter Coby was also helpful. Near the tram and few minutes to the city. Thanks again.
Karen was unfortunately not in the country when my wife and I stayed at her place, but she was amazing to communicate with. There was a list of necessities in the cupboard, which was very helpful. It was a perfect place if you plan to be out and about. A small place, but very comfy and cosy :)
Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Super Lage, einfache Anbindung mit der Straßenbahn ins Zentrum. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Würde bei einem neuerlichen Aufenthalt in Melbourne sofort wieder hier buchen.
We had a very peaceful, quiet night at Karen's studio. Although we struggled to find the place (mostly because we're not familiar with the area and were navigating late at night), once we did, it was very easy to just relax, have a hot shower and crash straight to bed.
Karen's studio was exactly what I was after. I stayed there for one week while visiting from Canberra to study. It's comfortable, clean, and close to everything you need.
My only tip would be to bring a pair of ear plugs - there is a private gym next door that you can sometimes hear early early in the morning.
Nonetheless, I'd highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Melbourne.
Karen was lovely and it was great to get a lift from the airport. The room was small but clean with nice furniture. The lack of window and lockable door was an issue for me though it may not be for some.
