We had a great stay at Rebecca's place. The flat was very clean and in a perfect location for us to explore the City, plus nicely located close to the sports grounds such as the cricket and tennis if you're into that kind of thing. There was also a great roof top swimming pool, which was our saviour as we were there during the recent heatwave. Rebecca was a great host and left us detailed lists of what to do, where to go and where was good to eat. She left us some lovely eggs from her friends farm too - I think they were the best eggs I've ever had! Thanks Rebecca for your hospitality.
By Mum - Rebecca’s apartment on Spring Street was a delight. It ticked all the boxes of a central location (we walked everywhere); it was cosy, comfortable, safe, secure, quiet, functional and well … complete. We would definitely return and recommend it to anyone who would like to visit Melbourne and stay within the city limits, yet have a peaceful night’s sleep! Rebecca was very professional to deal with, no problems whatsoever. She made us feel most welcome!
We loved our stay at Rebecca's apartment. The location was excellent- close to food and shopping, on the tranquil side of the CBD. The apartment itself was very clean and had lots of character! Although we did not meet in person, Rebecca was a wonderful host! She was always easy to contact, flexible and thoughtful. I would recommend her place to anyone looking for a city stay which is well situated for shopping and eating, but still peaceful enough for a relaxing getaway!
Rebecca's place was perfect for a stay right in town, close to so many fabulous eating spots, walking distance to the many icons that are Melbourne. Rebecca was a joy to deal with, a wealth of information and a great host. Thanks so much for everything!
Great location and cosy apartment. Rebecca communicated very well and I enjoyed staying in her apartment.
cosy appartment. really nice restaurants very close by. cumulus and french brasserie just to name 2.
We had a great stay on Rebecca's apartment. It is well located, just a block away from the Free City Tram stop and also a block away from the beautiful Collins Ave.
The apartment is just the right size for two and has everything needed.
The only two things I disliked are:
- apartment was kind of messy and we didn´t have much space to leave our clothes and things;
- oven was not very clean;
Besides those two things (that can be easily fixed), I had a great stay and would definitely recommend the apartment.
Our family of three was very comfortable at Rebecca's cheery, cherry-themed apartment. Rebecca was quick to reply to queries and the apartment had everything we needed. The location was perfect, being two minutes walk from the free city circle tram which took us anywhere in the Melbourne CBD. Also, do try out the famed Mamasita restaurant around the corner. It's reputation is very well deserved! The food was delicious and the long waiting line can be avoided by eating at a less usual time (we walked straight in at 4pm but saw long queues at midday and for dinner). We found cheap all-day parking across the road at the corner of Spring and Flinders Streets, again only a couple of minutes from the flat. When we next visit Melbourne we would be very happy to stay here again.
The reservation was canceled 4 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Felt at 'home' the moment I walked in.
Can't wait to come back !
