The Pelican Cove is a great little house in Galveston with a perfect location near the beach and the ferry. Everything was clean and tidy. The wifi worked perfect and the kids enjoyed Netflix and the collection of dvds there to choose from.
Cute beach home. Within a short walk to the beach. Home looked exactly like the pictures. Great value for location. Host is easy to work with and quick to respond. Kitchen is well stocked.
Edgar the owner was very responsive and even let us check in early. We did a father and son fishing trip and the house was clean, had plenty of towels and the kitchen was was fully loaded with dishes and cooking utensils. For the price, this was a great place for us!
We had a fantastic time in Galveston and Edgar's place made all the difference. It's much nicer in real life. He has thought of everything. The beds were very comfortable, the washer/dryer were great to have and we really love the fact that he is pet friendly. The area is great and convenient to everything we needed to get to. We look forward to staying at the Pelican Cove again.
My friends and I rented Edgar's charming house for a weekend girls trip. Edgar was easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. Everything was well kept and clean when we arrived.Walking distance to the beach and the Pleasure Pier; a covered patio in the back with a grill; it was the perfect house for us!
A great location that is walking distance to the beach. The place was clean and comfortable. Nice sitting area in the back, where we spent our evenings relaxing. The host was very helpful and easy to reach.
We enjoyed our stay and would consider renting it again in the future.
About the Host, Edgar
I am from South America, I moved to the USA nearly 20 years ago with my wife and daughter. I first lived in New York then relocated to Texas. I am a teacher, but for many years I had other houses in both North and South America, I would rent them out not for vacation but long term. Once I sold my 2 extra houses in Texas I came upon a house in Galveston, I decided to buy it and renovate it, it was terrible before I got to it. I am still a teacher, I own a vacation rental (for 4 years now), own 3 houses and 1 property in South America.
