No smoking or pets inside the condo (smoking allowed on the balcony). Please respect the apartment, the neighbors, and the building. Treat it like you would your own home.
Steve was a great host and very accommodating when our flight was delayed. Excellent communication and our check in was effortless. A very nice building with a friendly staff. The apartment is comfortable, cozy and kitschy. The location is perfect with everything you need within walking distance. Even getting to the place from the airport on MARTA was really easy. Perfect jumping off point for anything Atlanta.
Everything was described as expected. The apartment is in a great area. Walking distance from cnn, coca cola, Georgia dome, bars and various restaurants. Check in was smooth and for transportation we used the Marta (subway). The owner was reachable, flexible and prompt on response. Location is unbeatable.
I stayed for 5 nights, the apartment has everything you need, it was clean, well equipped and good value for money. It is quite a dated apartment, but once you get past the eyesore of the decor it's fine. The bed was incredibly comfortable. It is in a central location and is safe. Steve and Aprils assistant Pam checked me in which was nice and easy.
I really don't see the point of the car park pass as there were never any spots available in the lot. There is paid parking in the lot next door, so if you have a car be prepared to pay.
Sorry about the parking pass there was unusual high volume during your stay. I wish you had called us about the parking we would have reimbursed before you left for when you had to pay. Please let us know how much and how we can get payment to you for when you had to pay to park. Safe Travels!
The hosts were nice and friendly- patiently answered all our questions. The small snacks they left for us were a nice surprise.
Our contact for the property, Pam, was great. She was there to help me find the entry to the parking lot and answered lots of questions that came up over the first 24 hours.
The apartment is very conveniently located in central downtown Atlanta. If you have to be at a convention, you can easily walk from this place. There is a concierge and everyone we ran into was very nice.
The place itself could use some serious updating. The kitchen seems to be from the 1960's as well as the heating/cooling units. Everything works, it's just very dated.
The queen bed in the bedroom is very soft. If you like that, great. If you don't, it is good to know.
There is an air mattress in the couch in the living room. Unfortunately the frame on which the air mattress sits makes it so your feet rest higher than your head, so you are in an inverted position. If you want to lie down and watch tv, it is a bit uncomfortable. If you do not wish to be inverted, you must do a 180 and face the wall.
The place is fine. The common areas are very nice. It is not luxury though. I think the building was considered luxury when it was built.
This rental comes with a parking spot. Understand that the available parking for this building is extremely limited. There may not be a parking space early in the morning or after work and then there was some question about parking in the adjacent "paid" lot. If you have a car that you will need to park, it might be worth it to clarify this point before booking.
This cozy apt is what you see on the website. No tricky pictures.
Steve's assistant received us and explained everything about the apt.
Our stay was great, we had no problems with the apt at all and it has everything you need -and even more!
The neighborhood, like other many downtowns in the US, changes at nighttime. However, there's security in the building.
The view is amazing, subway is near the apt, you will be close to the best neighborhoods in ATL.
