This Cheerful Space provides you serenity and a mesmerizing forest view all minutes from the Smoky Mountains National Park. Our secluded treehouse cabin sits at the end of a paved road on 0.5 acres, only 4 miles from downtown Bryson City and features 1100 square feet of comfortable modern living. We have done our best to make this your cozy home away from home.

Bear Cove Cabin features parking in a large gravel driveway in front. The yard includes a fire pit. It also provides a covered area where you can relax while overlooking the mountains, allowing you to rejuvenate. At night, sit outside and treat yourself to the sound of a nearby stream and the star-filled, open mountain sky! The wall of windows facing the mountains and trees, hardwood floors, granite countertops, two electric fireplaces, and the distant sounds of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway are just some of the ways that we have brought the outdoors in to make this your dream mountain get-away.

The living room has an abundance of natural light. Imagine yourself relaxing in this space that houses a sleeper futon sofa & fuzzy rocker. Please note the futon is best suited for a child or teen. There is a cozy electric fireplace with a large flat screen smart TV mounted above. This living area has a sliding door that opens onto the expansive deck for gathering, watching the beautiful sunrise, enjoying the mountain view, or stargazing in the evening. The deck is equipped with wrought iron/wicker patio furniture for relaxing or enjoying an outdoor meal.

Overlooking the breath-taking scenery, the kitchen features a dining room table for 4 and an island bar with additional seating for 2. There is also a modern coffee bar with additional counter seating. Please note we do not have blinds in the dining or family room to preserve the beautiful views and treehouse feel. You will have privacy blinds in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. It is tastefully appointed with granite countertops and all new appliances including refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker (with Keurig pods), and toaster. We provide you with all of the dishes, utensils, and pots & pans that you’ll need. Please note, for sanitary reasons, we can not provide oil, salt or pepper. Make sure to bring your own or pick up at Ingles 7 minutes away! :)

To accommodate your sleeping needs, our cabin has been designed to help you relax and get a restful night’s sleep in our comfortable Casper mattress bed, pillows, and luxurious décor. Our goal is for you to slip into bed at night and wake up feeling rested from a wonderful night’s sleep!

The master suite is up the stairs off of the kitchen. It has a queen-size bed, Samsung Frame flat screen smart TV and walk-in closet. Right off the master suite is a bathroom with shower/tub combo. Please note, we do not have laundry available for guest use at this time.

Downstairs, the ultimate private suite, which can also double as a hang out or game room) features a cozy futon sleeper sofa and TV. Please note the futon is best suited for smaller people, such as a teen. It includes a cozy, old fashioned electric fireplace for heat and a work space. Please note the fireplace operates on a 9 hour timer for safety. Connected to Suite 2 is the downstairs bathroom that features a shower with seat. Please note this bedroom/hang out room is only accessible via an exterior door off of the carport. There is not an interior staircase.

The town of Bryson City is very charming! It has a small town feel with quaint boutiques and restaurants surrounded by mountains & the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad makes you feel right at home with its Southern Charm. The spring & summer months bring festivals and numerous outdoor activities, the fall foliage is magnificent, and the winter brings us The Polar Express and snow skiing at Cataloochee Resort. Harrah's Casino is just 10 miles away which offers fabulous dining and entertainment opportunities. Hiking. Biking. Exploring. There is so much to do or it's just a perfect place to relax ~ our cabin and town do not disappoint.

**This property cannot accomodate trailers of any kind. Please note this property does not allow pets or smoking on the property under any circumstances.**

Bear Cove Cabin is within close proximity to Downtown Bryson City, the Smoky Mountains National Park, The Train Depot, the Ingles Grocery Store, and Highway 74. Great location!

Parking is in the gravel driveway in front of the house. Please do not park under the carport. Bryson City is easily accessed via Highway 19.

Other things to note
* Please note the downstairs is a private suite, only accessible via an exterior door off of the carport. The heater operates on a 9 hour timer for safety. Please keep this in mind for winter bookings.

* The main level is accessed via exterior staircase to the front door. There is also an exterior staircase off of the back deck.

* Please wash all used dishes or put in dishwasher and start the load before check out.

* Pets and smoking are not allowed on the property in any circumstances.

* Also, we typically have high speed cellular internet available via T-Mobile network, however, due to weather or network conditions, it may not be as reliable as a typical wired/cable/fiber optic connection. Please keep this in mind when booking and making remote work arrangements.

* If you can't find network upon check in, please check the house manual in this app for detailed instructions. Often a reboot of the router will resolve the issue.
