About 350 meters far from St Peter’s basilica, in front of the historic centre, behind Trastevere and at the feet of Janiculum Hill, Plum is about 60 squared meters, ground floor.
Plum is constantly renovated, it’s made up of two private comfortable and cosy environments.
From one side a double bedroom with en suite bathroom and mini-bar; from the other side, an open-space with a larger bathroom, king size bed, living room with two single sofa-beds, a crystal table up to 6 seats, and a totally equipped at-sight kitchen.
Plum is in the same building of our other apartment Violet, so we are keen on hosting larger groups, up to eleven guests in the same building.
Our watchful eye to the latest Capital’s fashion gave birth to Urban Cool: our fun guide with the map of Rome, created to help all the people visiting Rome, to discover new local places and people, to make you try the experience of living this city as the real Romans (know how to) do.
Plum is in a commercial area, in a very quiet location, in front of the old centre, but with much different prices! Few steps take you to a big supermarket, any kind of shop, restaurant, winebar, and after 350 meters you are at the feet of St. Peter’s basilica, surrounded by all the services you may ever need.
The bus n.64 starts in front of the building (you'll always find seats!), passes through the historic centre and ends at Termini central station. In addition, two blocks away is the local train station San Pietro, and walking for two blocks towards the Vatican there is also a taxi stop.
Because my booking wasn't managed properly by the host, we moved to another apartment as a solution. The apartment is new and good for 4 people, but a little dust on the bed. The host Katia is very helpful and nice!Thank you!
Great location and easy to the Vatican. Hosts communication was wonderful.
Very good location and nice appartment.
3 minutes from the Vatican, in a quiet area (it was hot so we kept the windows opened at night, no problem except the birds in the morning! - the place has A/C but we didnt want to use it) with a big supermarket around the corner.
I would recommend, for sure!
(+ 4 people !)
We stayed in the apartment for 3 days and it was a very good experience.
It's very convenient because its only three blocks away from the Vatican City. It's air conditioned and all the amenities made our trip. Thanks to Valentina, she is very helpful.
Valentina and Alessandro were very welcoming to my family and I. Were were very impressed by the location (literally a 5 minute walk to the Vatican) and the size of the apartment. Everything was handled very professionally. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Valentina and Alessandro were great hosts!! Months before our trip they contacted us to set up check in and gave us helpful information. They even set up the taxi service for us. A few weeks before our trip the airline changed our flight by a day, and they were very flexible with our reservation. Once we arrived, through out check in they took their time explaining everything and answering all of our questions. The apartment was beautiful and clean, just like the pictures. The location was perfect: 5 mins from the Vatican, the bus stop is half a block away, which takes you to the most important places in Rome, there's a supermarket a block away, and a variety of restaurants. I would definitely stay here on my next trip to Rome!!
We stayed 3 nights in this apartment. It was in a good location. The apartment was great for 2 adults and 2 kids. Very spacious. Close to a supermarket. Would recommend this for groups or families.
The apartment in Rome is very nice. We had four people and this place provided plenty of space and the two bathrooms was really nice! The apartment was very clean with great Wi-Fi, the beds were very comfortable with clean linens and very clean furnishings. The check in was smooth with no problems. The only caveat I have is that the apartment is about a 20-30 min bus ride from the city center (colossum-Trevi Fountain-Forum etc)and bus 64 which serves this neighborhood is an extremely popular bus that was packed most of the time. It caused some minor frustration. Its very close to the Vatican and going there was a piece of cake. The neighborhood itself is great! Lots of cool restaurants and small shops--very nice!
The apartment is nice. Irena was especially helpful. Walking distance to everything you would want to see in Rome. Collesium was the farthest distance, took about 45 minutes on foot, but there is so much to see in between that you don't even notice. The vatican is just a 5-10 minute walk. Definitely a good option to stay here if seeing the Vatican is what you're most interested in. If the rest of the sights in Rome are more intriguing to you, you might want to find something on the other side of the river.
Well, Roma is a great place to stay and Alessandro's flat a good spot close to the Vatican. It is very easy to access the city center from it, thanks to the bus line 64. Walking a bit, you can go directly from the flat to the Trastevere, and enjoy the neighborhood during the evening with a lot of places to go out.
