About this listing
Located about 100m from the stairs where Owen Wilson experienced time-travelling in Woody Allen's masterpiece: Midnight in Paris.
It is a lovely flat, located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris within the famous Quartier Latin. This cosy and warm flat is at the 5th floor of its building offering a nice view of the rooftops of Paris (with elevator, no worries). Fresh bed linens and towels are furnished.
As located downtown Paris, it is really easy to move around from the apartment: 2min walk to bus stop, 3min to cab station and subway station at Place Monge, 5min to Cardinal Lemoine metro station and finally 15min walk to RER B.
You may start sightseeing walking with the Panthéon and the Jardin du Luxembourg being at 5min distance. Or you could decide to go for a walk along the famous Quai de Seine and appreciate the beauty of the Notre Dame Cathedral just 10min from the apartment.
The Eiffel Tower may be reached in just 25min with the subway. Or if you are more interested in History, the Arènes de Lutèce (Paris' former name) remains from the Gallo-Roman era are just 2min away !
Louvres: 15 minutes by metro.
Champs Elysées / Arc de Triomphe: 20 minutes by metro.
Le Marais (Gay district, many fashion shops and bars) 25 minutes by walk or 7-10 minutes by metro)
Hill of Montmartre: 30 minutes by metro
Château de Versailles : 1 hour by traun
It is a fully equipped apartment with oven, microwave, washing machine, dryer, coffee machine, digital television with international news channels (BBC, CNBC, Deutsch Welle,...) and WiFi. The bed mesure 160X205 cm. I also have a baby crib (60X120).
For those of you who don't know (yet, of course) about the 5th arrondissement, there are plenty of lovely restaurants, bistros and bars all around. Everything needed for grocery shopping is easily available around the corner (Monge Street): supermarkets, green groceries, cheeses shops, boulangeries (with true French baguettes!), cellars...
I furnish bed linens and towels but I ask you to leave the flat as clean as you found it. Thanks.
