The space

This apartment is the perfect union of bright light, restful space and ideal location (Stanton St.), in the Lower East Side. It has been curated carefully to have the right balance of clean lines and fun retro kitch.
It is walking distance to SoHo (7 min.), 2 blocks to East Village, 5 mins walk to the Williamsburg bridge, you can walk across to Brooklyn (25 min.), or walk to Downtown/Wall Street (25 min.) It is very accessible, with access to the F, M, J, Z, 6, B and D subway lines, taking you Uptown/Downtown, Brooklyn, Harlem, everywhere! The apartment is just 1 block south from Houston, which is a main route crossing the city from east to west in south Manhattan, making it easy to grab a cab and get across town fast.

Fluffy towels and soft cotton linens will be provided. Kitchen utensils and basic food items (salt, pepper, etc.) are all available for your use. There is a fold down sofa bed that comfortably suits two additional guests (four in total); as long as everyone doesn't mind sharing a continuous space there is ample moving room.

THIS IS A SINGLE APARTMENT (Not shared with me or anyone else)
I am a few blocks away to answer any questions and provide needed assistance. I'm also happy to give you suggestions of awesome (non-tourist-trappy) things to do.

The neighborhood is unbelievably safe and is extremely close to the best food and drinks in the city.
Whether you're looking to shop, browse galleries, explore the food scene or visit the tenement museum- you won't need to walk more than 5 blocks in any direction (but you should because there is a lot of exploring to do in LES).

I am from Portland, ME and I love to do all the outdoorsy things you'd imagine:
swimming, hiking, camping, biking, running, pilates, etc etc
I also love to travel and meet new people and I'm sure I haven't been to nearly enough places or met nearly enough people!
I am a polite, tidy, fairly quiet guest and I'm always very thankful for a good host that can provide local info and help a sister out!
I look forward to meeting you :)
