Comfort in the Bluegrass is a very clean, home nestled in the heart of bourbon and horse country. If it’s a little R&R you’re after, or entertainment…. This is the perfect location for either! We sit in a beautiful 1.6 acres located in a quiet, peaceful area in Anderson county. You can choose to relax with your friends or family by the fire pit, or tour one (or several) of the many sites around here! We are in between Lexington and Louisville, and only a few miles from Frankfort.

The space
This basement suite consists of a private drive. Access of entry is within the side door from private drive way. Upon entering, guest will walk into a foyer with a coffee bar, small refrigerator and microwave. The large bedroom has a queen bed with plenty of closet space and chest of drawers. This space also has a full private bath, large eating area and den with a queen sleeper sofa and lots of natural light. Right off the den guest can walk out onto a private covered patio for their morning cup of coffee or winding down at night. The basement suite is very spacious. But does not have a Kitchen.

Hi we are Chris and Karen Sutherland. I work for the State of Ky as the Chief Elevator Inspector and my wife is an elementary Art Teacher right here in Anderson County. We have 5 children and 4 grandchildren. All our children are grown and now we have a big empty house. So we have turned our basement into an Airbnb. We look forward to sharing our home with you on your travels.
