A fully furnished quaint one bedroom apartment is available for rent. Spacious bedroom with queen bed (linens and towels provided), bathroom with heated tile floor, quaint living room, and a kitchenette complete with an oven, microwave, refrigerator and all basic utensils, cookware, and dishes. It is the basement of a family home, but it has a separate entrance and several windows that catch the sun. The only shared element is the laundry, which is in the basement. All utilities and Wifi are included in the rent. There is a plasma 46" television in the living room with blueray player that is connected to Netflix and Hulu, however we do not have cable. Parking is ample right in front of the house. The house is surrounded by a beautiful yard and a fire pit that you're more than welcome to enjoy! This time of year in Seattle is the best to enjoy the outdoors. I also have a small garden that produces quite a lot of food, so depending on what is ready to harvest you may be able to reap the benefits! Culinary herbs also available for use.
The house is located north of Seattle - a very short drive to Greenlake, Greenwood shops and restaurants, Carkeek Park, Golden Gardens beach, Northgate, and only a 15 minute drive to get downtown. Public transit (bus) is also available only two blocks away. This is a great place to stay, whether it's for a weekend, a couple weeks or a couple months!
I'm looking for respectful and responsible female tenants. Additional persons, couples and men will be considered at my discretion. I am usually the only one living upstairs, as my husband is away often on business.
Please contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to speaking with you!

Julia was a wonderful host! Her house is beautiful, and the apartment was very clean, comfortable, and new-looking. Private entryway, living room (with huge TV including Netflix and Hulu plus), kitchen with dining area, bedroom with custom closet, laundry, and bathroom (with heated floor tiles!). All of the comforts of home, and so much better than staying in a hotel!
The proximity to downtown was approximately 10 miles, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Hi Brit - Thanks for the suggestions. You're absolutely right - I usually rent to longer term tenants - a few weeks to a couple months so i haven't been in the habit of providing those smaller items, but for short term stays I will definitely do that in the future : ) All best! Julia
Wonderful time with Julia. VERY accommodating. The space is just as listed. Location was perfect for our needs, just north of downtown Seattle and quite easy to access with a car. It is also right off of 99, which is a main drive to get you too and from different locations. Julia was always available via text message and was prompt in replies.
Had a lovely stay for 11 days and Julia and Todd made us feel very welcome on arrival by showing us to our rooms, which were delightful. The rooms were lovely and clean throughout. The place is close to almost everything (shopping, parks, downtown etc.) and well connected. Its excellent value for money and gave us everything we needed. I would strongly recommend to anyone who wish to have an holiday in Seattle.
We loved it! It was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. My parents couldn't stop talking about how comfortable their stay was - and they can be hard to please sometimes. Julia and her husband were also friendly and hospitable, which just made this first-time Airbnb experience wonderful!
No complaints whatsoever!
We appreciated the chance to stay in the lower level of this home when visiting our son in graduate school. The apartment met our needs; it was very clean and uncluttered creating a relaxing environment. We were very busy while we were in Seattle so didn't spend too much time there, but it was nice to come back to after busy days. We used the kitchen for breakfast and packing lunches, but did not do other cooking but there were pots and pans, etc. available. Our host left us some food to get our week off to a good start and we were grateful to have something for breakfast. We found using the buses to get downtown and then transfer passes worked very well for our destinations. We enjoyed exploring the nearby Phinney Ridge and Fremont neighborhoods. Our host was very nice and accomodating; we felt very comfortable there. We'll be sure to contact Julia in the future when we come to Seattle.
The basement apt was great and so were our hosts. Lots of privacy, huge space and stocked kitchen. Will stay again.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The basement apartment was really nice, well furnished, comfortable and had all the basic necessities. We enjoyed staying at Julia's place as it provided a little home away from home. The drive to downtown Seattle was not bad at all and it is located near several small and large shopping centers, plus it is right off Aurora which had a ton of restaurants.
Julia herself was very friendly and helped get us oriented when we arrived. I would definitely recommend staying at her place.
