This is your home away from home. It is also our home. Please take care of it and treat it how you would like us to treat your home.
In case you were wondering; we would treat your home VERY nice. We would put some flowers in the vase and a bottle of champagne in the fridge for you when you returned if you let us stay at your home. We'd probably even do the dishes, vacuum the floors and walk the dog (if you have one - if you don't, we'll walk the neighbors dog).
Be kind - it looks good on you!
Cute, comfortable apartment, exactly as described, in a hip part of town, convenient to multiple train stops, groceries, and restaurants. Thomas was super communicative and helpful. It was an added bonus that he has a great, large flatscreen on an Apple TV, already logged in to HBO, so we didn't miss a single episode of Game of Thrones. Despite the happening neighborhood, we were never disturbed by noise or smells. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. A good host and a great stay!
Stayed here for a second time because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Thomas is a great host and very accommodating. The place is perfect for a couple. We especially love the location--wonderful neighborhood. Looking forward to coming back. thanks again!
Thomas was cooperative & reliable in ensuring that we we had easy access and were comfortable. Place was much as we imagined -fantastic location - some noise noise from above at night but we expected that this could be the case. Loved the fact that it was ckearly not a tourist neighbourhood - great watching the locals wander around. We had everything we needed but as Thomas points out - it is a little tight for 2 including big suitcases but I would still come again as I loved the location. Donna
We had an incredible stay! Thomas was a great host and the home was absolutely incredible.
Thomas was very accommodating and always quick to respond. He was even able to get us the keys after our red eye flight.
His home was a perfect small romantic escape from the busy city. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!
A wonderful apartment and an amazing host! Apartment was situated very close to the subway and all the awesome cafes were within walking distance. Thomas provided us with everything we needed and promptly responded to all our queries before and during our stay. He was very flexible with our check in and check out arrangements, which was great! We didnt manage to meet Thomas during the course of our vacation but communication was very quick and effective through the phone. Just a pity we couldnt meet him in person to thank him - we definitely will book this apartment the next time we are in NYC!

Why: Because you need a cool, dimly lit place for sharing decadent haute pan-asian, thai dishes
Who: A good looking partner
What: A well-designed, well-executed thai joint
When: Sooner = better
Awesome late-night food, best cocktails in the area and alwa(email hidden)bar. It's almost impossible not to see at least 1 celebrity per night at Fedora.
One of the most sought after brunches on Sundays. The line to the restaurant often starts 1030am and brunch isn't served till 11am. Worth checking out and food can be really good.
Fantastic authentic italian food. High-priced, but great for impressing a date. Some of the best service and cappuchinos in the neighborhood.
Sports bars are hard to come by in the West Village. Except for Windsor. Windsor is hard to avoid. It's loud. It's friendly. It's got hot Americans drinking watery beers and playing great music. Go!
Aria is cheap. Aria is good. Aria always has hot people, loud music and great specials.
There is nothing not to love about Aria, so go - share 3-4 dishes and a bottle of wine. You won't regret it.
THE BEST GROCERY STORE IN DOWNTOWN. Westside Market simply takes the cake, the brie, the fresh salmon, the sushi and anything else you might want - and sell it to you. This is the only place you need.
The High Line is one of the coolest and definitely one of the best executed public parks in America. It should be walked by you and your friends no less than 3 times per week. It's Well Worth It!
Bakehouse serves breakfast. They serve lunch. They serve dinner. They serve Drinks. They serve you. And you are well served going to Bakehouse, because they do it well. Opening at 7am!
Rainbow Trout. Repeat after me... Rainbow. Trout.
Now go to Standard Grill and say it again. You won't regret it. You can also say great deserts, hot wait-staff and good meats. or Rainbow Trout.
