Kepals on the Coast is an understated delight. The Howard family chose this spot opposite the rocks to build their home. Come and dangle your feet in the water whilst you watch for dolphins, or come fishing on the rocks then cross the road to Kepals where there is a dedicated outdoor fish cleaning station and a Weber BBQ awaiting your catch! End your day indulging in delicious KI produce as you watch the sun set over the glistening water.

The space
Geoff hosts Kepals and his cousin Helen crafted the three-tiered limestone backyard. The previous owners, who grew the fruit trees, continue to nurture the beautiful gardens. Kepals is a place of simplicity and love. It is quintessential KI.

The open plan living space invites those relaxing on the recliners, dining, or cooking to gaze out to catch a glimpse of dolphins frolicking in the bay known to locals as Jack's Creek. Two front bedrooms, both with queen beds, enjoy the costal view. The third room with two king singles faces the playful backyard.

Everything is within easy reach in the kitchen with tea supplied and a French Press with filtered coffee provided or a Nespresso Machine if you prefer. A dishwasher, washing machine and dryer make life easier. The standard cleaning fee incorporates both cleaning and linen.

We are very excited to host our KI holiday home on Airbnb. We designed this home opposite Christmas Cove and have been sharing it with holiday guests for many years.

We love heading across to KI for a lazy weekend of pure relaxation; but often find ourselves tempted by the stunning walks and beautiful beaches. Our children love KI - backyard cricket, nearby beach for a dip, nearby shops to pick up a treat to bring home whilst binging Netflix or playing board games!

When we entertain guests we always take our car so we can share with them Seal Bay/Admirals Arch, Remarkable Rocks, Flinders Chase National Park...the vistas on the island drives and hidden beaches are spectacular. KI Spirits, KI Brewery or local wineries are always a hit!

We hope you will enjoy our favourite island.
