Because the cabin is located on a working vineyard, access is limited to cabin, deck and wooded area immediately behind cabin. Please refrain from walking in the vineyard and winery.
Please note: this is a working vineyard and winery and some noise related to farming activities can take place especially in the busy months (July - October).
Absolutely fantastic! This was the highlight of a week long vacation I took with my husband. Cute, comfortable, and with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We will definitely come back in the future!
This was our second stay at the Gaston Cabin and it did not disappoint! As a matter of fact, there were improvements made like air conditioning. Our weekend temperatures were well into the 90 degree temperatures so the cool air in the cabin was heavenly. As usual, there were bagels, OJ, butter, cream cheese and (our favorite!) a bottle of Carla's wine. A stay at the cabin in Gaston is like no other if you like beautiful vistas, wine tasting, rolling hills and a luxurious little house with all the amenities. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you Carla! : )
Wonderful, beautiful, peaceful and delightful.
Those are the words that come to mind as I remember my stay. The place was a wonderful retreat yet close to some amazing wineries.
The cabin and grounds were beautifully maintained and the surroundings were peaceful and so relaxing.
Carla was helpful and yet was not intrusive. Thanks for a great experience.
I don't think there is any place like the Beacon Hill cabin. This is truly a unique place. 15 to minutes from from everything you need in Oregon wine country. The best thing is, you really don't need to leave the cabin for one of the best wine country experiences given that the cabin is right on and overlooks a beautiful working vineyard and winery. The cabin is even more majestic in real life. I surprised my fiancé with a visit here and she was blown away. I will definitely be checking back in sometime soon. This place would be equally amazing during the fall or winter seasons.
My wife and I simply love this place and everything about this perfect little cabin perched above a vineyard. This is the second year in a row we've stayed here for our anniversary and hope to keep it as a tradition.
The cabin itself has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. And from the handwritten note and bottle of wine to the bagels and cream cheese in the fridge, everything about our experience made us feel welcome.
If you're lucky enough to find a date with availability, you won't regret making the trip to Beacon Hill!!!
My husband and I had an amazing time at Carla's cabin! Absolutely breathtaking scenery and the cabin is just perfect. It is an awesome retreat and place to get away for a while to recharge and refresh. If you are at all hesitating on booking, do it now!!! You won't regret it. As we were leaving, we were already planning our next trip!
I love this place! It was our second time here and surely not our last. Carla was great with communicating ahead of time, and making sure we had what we needed while there if anything came up. Also, the complimentary bottle of wine and bagels/cream cheese for the morning goes well above and beyond a regular airbnb host. The cabin is gorgeous and always clean and tidy. No complaints at all (except that the time there went by too quickly). We will be back and I highly recommend staying here if you can.
