The Beacon cabin is in its own private world, but still within reach of all the major attractions. Only a 5-10 min drive to major wineries: WillaKenzie Estate, Penner-Ash, Solena, Soter Vineyards, Shea Vineyards, and lots more!
Given the location of the cabin, you will need to have your own car as there is no public transportation nearby. However, some guests bring their bikes and are able to do some nice rides in the area.
No Additional Guests
Because the cabin is located on a working vineyard, access is limited to cabin, deck and wooded area immediately behind cabin. Please refrain from walking in the vineyard and winery.
Please note: this is a working vineyard and winery and some noise related to farming activities can take place especially in the busy months (July - October).
Don't make the same mistake I did and wait a year to make a reservation at the cabin.
I made a last minute reservation because I needed to get out of town and disconnect and the cabin ended up being the perfect escape. Carla was such a great host and her care and thoughtfulness is evident in the minor details of the property.
This will not be my last visit and I am so happy to have found my wine country getaway.
Carla did so much to make us feel welcome. We never actually met, but in all of our communications she was warm, hospitable, accommodating and generous. We were so privileged to spend time in this beautiful space, with stunning views of the vineyard. The space is just a stones throw from impressive tasting rooms featuring some of the best Pinot Noir the world has to offer. I'd give a full fledged recommendation for those considering staying here, you will not be disappointed.
Beautiful views! The scenery was picturesque, and we loved watching the sun rise over the vineyard each morning. Cozy, rustic cabin - felt like camping yet had all the comforts and amenities of home. An absolute gem!
A great little get away - and beautiful accommodations! Very private and very cozy. Host Carla checked on us via text to make sure we got settled the night we arrived and everything about the place is perfect.
Set in the heart of the Oregon wine country's best Pinot Noir wineries, it was a short jaunt to top vineyards nearby - the purpose of our weekend getaway. But we found ourselves wanting to cut the winery tour short so we could get back to this little slice of heaven.
Will definitely go back!!
Absolutely loved staying at Beacon Hill! Carla left a bottle of wine and some delicious bagels upon our arrival.
This is an amazing place for a getaway. Even if you aren't into wine, it provides a serene and relaxing setting. You are the only guests on a 40 acre property with a vineyard and wooded area. It is very private and the views are incredible. The cabin is not your average cabin. It keeps heat well in the winter, comes with a great wood stove (with firewood provided) and heaters both upstairs and down. Carla, the host, was incredible as well, with quick responses and check ins to make sure everything was going well. It's hard to describe how great this place is. We will definitely be back.
My husband and I just spent a wonderful, romantic weekend at this great little cabin. Carla was very prompt and helpful in all her communications and we had the pleasure to meet her on our first morning there. The view from the cabin is simply gorgeous. The environment is quiet and serene. The little cabin is cozy, rustic, beautiful and comfortable. The location is ideal for visiting the many wineries in the area. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We'll definitely be back!
I look forward to being your host at the beautiful Beacon cabin - there is really no place like it! I'm happy to recommend some of the wonderful wineries and restaurants that make Oregon wine country so special. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. :)
