  • What a gorgeous and special place! We had such a great weekend at this cabin and can't wait to come back in the summer. It is the perfect size for 2, super cozy and private. The bedroom has a 360 view with tons of windows overlooking the vineyard and woods behind the house, so lovely. The patio was perfect for lounging around, reading and drinking wine. There is a grill for cooking, but also plenty of places near by to grab food. Carla left us a nice list of recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores and wineries. She was also so sweet to leave us a bottle of wine and some snacks for breakfast. All and all a perfect weekend. Carla was prompt, easy to book with and was sure to check in with us when we arrived and at checked out. Thank you Carla!

  • The Beacon Hill cabin is simply amazing. The views are fantastic, the wood burning stove is wonderful, and the complimentary bottles of wine were just delicious. I will be back to this listing in the future, and I cannot wait!

  • This place was incredible! Can't say enough great things about it. I will definitely be back! Wine country was so wonderful, beautiful vineyard views. The wine the vineyard produces is also great. Loved it!

  • Every aspect of this cabin was amazing and our hosts went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect experience. I echo many of the great things already said in the other reviews. A few things that we noticed were in addition to what everyone else has raved about - 1) it is fantastic in the winter time. we think wine country is best experienced in winter, with many wineries are open year round but there are no lines or crowds, plus tasting is an indoor sport. 2) it has a great location close to so many quaint towns which all have much to offer on the culinary front 3) surprisingly fast internet in the cabin is such a help to scout out information for planning out your day. since it is so remote you would expect slow internet which would be irritating but their internet they provide is free and fast!

overall, we really liked how cozy it was and the fireplace provided us with heat and ambiance. It's luxurious for any standards, let alone cabins. very relaxing and private location.

  • My girlfriend and I both work in the restaurant industry and were in serious need of a quick getaway. Wine is our passion, so when I found this amazing spot I knew it was meant for us. Carla was SO wonderful! We were there on a VERY cold day and the pipes had frozen, Carla and George made sure to give us every option they could think of to make our stay perfect! We arrived to a fire burning in the fireplace, a toasty warm house, some treats to eat and drink, and a lovely card welcoming us. We use airbnb and vacasa for quiet getaways, and this stay absolutely set a new standard. The stars over the vineyard at night were breathtaking, and the sunrise in the morning was second to none. I feel SO lucky to have found this spot and we are already planning a trip in warm weather to enjoy the deck, the grill, and the view. Thank you Carla and George!

  • This place really is a gem. It's centrally located to all the vineyards you'd want to see and it's private enough to really feel like you're away from it all. We loved drinking some Pinot noir (and some awesome Oregon IPA's) on the deck in the afternoons. Such a great view to just relax and take in. The cabin is a hoot. The bathroom has everything you could possibly want. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities of home, i.e. dish ware, glasses, silverware, bottle opener, etc. The fireplace in the living area is awesome and really keeps the whole cabin warm if need be (the electric heaters work really well too though). The loft bedroom not only offers an incredible view to wake up to but the bed was surprisingly comfortable with lots of pillows and extra blankets in the chest at the end of the bed. I guess the only caveat was that the outdoor grill could use a little TLC. The side burner on it works great though and made some delicious omelets. We would come back here in a heartbeat. We fell in love with the valley and our little cabin. Couldn't be happier in our decision to book this place.

Oh and the host Carla couldn't have been more accommodating. We had a last minute change of plans and she was able to get the place all cleaned up and ready in a moments notice. She's quick to respond to any requests and really made us feel comfortable in staying here.

If you're visiting the Willamette valley you'd be a fool to not stay here. Also eat at Dundee bistro, it really is fantastic. And get custard at Jack's in town.

  • I brought my girlfriend here for our anniversary and it exceeded expectations. Carla was very helpful and responsive. Great location for wine tasting in the norther valley. It's a truly magical spot. Book it.

  • Our stay was magical! This is a clean, well-built cabin with a wood burning stove and a great porch. Lots of drawers, shelves and storage in this sweet, tiny cabin. The bathroom has a large shower and a great heater. We had lots of privacy, but felt welcomed and easily texted with Carla. She updated us in advance of the one-day grape harvesting, which was quiet and fun to watch as the morning mist was lifting.

The owner of the nearby grocery store was so welcoming and helped us pick out local cheese to take back to the cabin. We also stopped at a nearby "pick your own"flowers shop. This cabin is in a great location, not far from the coast and not far from Portland. Yet you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere in the pitch dark of night and animals howling. And we loved the Beacon Hill Chardonnay! Must have a rental car to get there.

  • The cabin was like being away at camp, only it was a luxury camp for adults with plush bedding, a wonderful hot shower, and of course wine :) Absolutely perfect! My husband and I stayed in the Cabin for 2 nights and loved every minute of it. It was rainy when we visited, but we didn't mind because we made a fire and cooked dinner on top of the wood burning stove (Carla provided lots of firewood). The bedding was plush and super comfortable, and we were close to lots of wineries for tastings, although my favorite thing to do was just sit in front of the fire and look out at the beautiful views in all directions.

  • Awesome weekend at the cabin. Almost don't want to tell anyone else about it cause it's so great. Loved the place and Carla was fantastic, checking in with us. She left us bagels. Didn't ever want to leave. Thanks for a great time.
