About this listing
This luxury Rome apartment is located in the heart of one of the oldest neighborhoods of Rome: Rione Trastevere. You will just fall in love with this coloured and typical Roman area, where you can easily have the impression that you have been there before. Rather than having the atmosphere of a city it has the atmosphere of a small medieval village.
The main feature of this luxury apartment is the original decoration on the walls, done with an original oil painting. The apartment is located on the third floor of a historic building that remains without a lift. The artistically and elegantly decorated flat is full of luxurious comforts: from the marvelous bathtub to the splendid high end Hi-Fi system built into the walls, from the fully equipped kitchen to the two LCD 42″Sat TVs (one in the living area, one in the master bedroom). The living area has a convertible sofa and a pouf.
The master bedroom features an extremely comfortable king size bed with pillows, blankets and duvets that will make you feel like you are in the lap of luxury, as well as an originally designed and comfortable bathtub, hidden by a wall. The fully equipped kitchen, with microwave is located at the entrance of the apartment, is both modern and classy. This unique Rome apartment has been conceived for the most demanding of persons!
Location: Trastevere is an old and typically Roman neighborhood situated in the heart of Rome. The most appealing trait of the locale is its character: the popular Roman atmosphere with a cosmopolitan and modern flavor. Trastevere is a lively area: it is ideal for young people looking for night life! There are many lovely places where to have a glass of wine or a beer. For example in Piazza di Sant'Egidio "Ombre Rosse" is the best place! While strolling along these tiny, medieval streets, you can palpably feel its unique athmosphere! We recommend a drink in the Piazza of Santa Maria in Trastevere, a Roman lunch at the restaurant ‘Checco il carettiere‘, and an aperitif at ‘Freni e frizioni‘.
With regards to the public transportation, there is a good bus connection. The best stop is next to Piazza Trilussa, a few meters before the fire.
From the apartment, you will find it easy to walk everywhere. Here is a list of the main attractions and the distances to them:
Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere 0.14 Km - 2 mins walk
Campo De’ Fiori 0.34 Km - 4 mins walk
Piazza Navona 0.6 Km - 7 mins walk
Pantheon 0.66 Km - 8 mins walk

Awesome location! Very convenient to restaurants and bars. Comfortable, clean apartment. Really enjoyed our stay in Rome.
Area- This is a cool area for people without kids, if you are with kids you might prefer a quieter area in the center (in close proximity to the train if possible), also the apartment is spacey but is located on the 3rd floor with a steep staircase (not fun to take a stroller...).
The good- very cool area (best pizza 20 meters from the apartment), apartment is pretty nice, and is not noisy although the area is quite happening.
Also when we complained about issues (see below) someone arrived in less than an hour to fix.
If you don't have kids with you will have fun staying here.
The bad- We requested a baby crib which arrived 3 hours after we arrived in the room (at 10 p.m...), and didn't have a mattress so we improvised something... also the bath didn't work (couldn't hold the water and no hot water, although the shower worked fine).. we were escorted to the room by a real estate agent that didn't explain anything (not even how to connect to wifi, which we were able to guess...) about the room and stayed 45 min for no apparent reason (waited for a call from his next meeting...)
The ugly- Our first evening was ruined by waiting for the baby crib and our nights were hard as the baby did not sleep well on the improvised mattress.
It is important to point out that after the trip we sent a compliant and Lorenzo acknowledged the issues and provided us some compensation from the complete payment.
Just make sure everything works (bath) before they give you the apartment and you will be fine...
Lorenzo was very prompt when communicating, and arrangements went well, waiting only 10 minutes for key collection. I did not meet Lorenzo which was disappointing and formalities were done with someone else. The apartment appeared smaller than the photos show, but the location and many facilities made up for this. I would return without hesitation, despite the steep climb up the stairs with luggage! There are so many shops and restaurants in the area that strolling in Trastevere and along the Tiber was a real pleasure. But despite the throng of people outside, the apartment was completely silent.
The Apartment was in a perfect spot! Loved to be in this part of the City. The evening vibe was amazing with all the outdoor cafes and people enjoying themselves. Apartment was well appointed.Great kitchen!! There were a few issues with the shower and bathtub, that are easy fixes for the owner. We were greeted and our car to and from the airport was arranged,,,,very smooth!

Such a nice apartment!! Perfect for 4 persons, extremely well located.
Don't hesitate to ask for car transfer from and/or to the airport, no that expensive and very convenient.
