Living in a 19-story skyscraper allows a breathtaking view of the Mississippi River. Located in the heart of the Downtown Neighborhood – near the nightlife, restaurants, and shopping – our apartments are the ideal home base for exploring the city.
The Exchange Building, completed in 1910 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, was refitted in 1996 to house 202 attractive efficiencies, one and two bedroom apartments, penthouses, and handicap equipped units. While the building has undergone a series of renovations, every effort has been made to preserve its historic features, such as the original mosaic tiles, an early-1900’s era Tennessee marble staircase, the elaborate plasterwork, and the granite surfaces. The towering marble ceilings of the lobby exude the elegance of downtown living.
The apartments provide a homey feel with a luxurious touch and high-quality amenities. Several of the units located on the higher floors provide our residents a spectacular view.

Awesome place!!! Unbeatable location. Super cool building with a security guard at night. Safe and great. Very helpful with recommendations and things to see. The apartment building is rich with history and the original cotton exchange building. Super close walk to Beale Street and lots of cool downtown stuff. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone.
Sardor had people on hand to welcome us to his apartment which was well suited to our needs as busy tourists. Extremely well positioned with access to all the good bits of Memphis. Thank you Sardor.
Great experience! The building is beautiful and is a short walk to Beale Street. We had wonderful views of downtown and the Mississippi River.
Everyone on the host team was very helpful. The price was right and the location, perfect. If you are a very particular person, this may not be the rental for you. As a place to lay your head- it's fine. The people that live in the building (that you will meet in the elevator) are super nice and helpful.
Great location and super cheap but poorly managed.
When we arrived we had to wait 30mins outside the building, freezing our butts off, before the property manager came down to let us in, even though we had given her our E.T.A the day prior and called her 15mins before to arriving, as requested. What’s more she didn’t even apologise.
When she did arrive, she took us up to our room and informed us that the housekeepers hadn’t yet been to our room but would be up shortly to give sheets and towels. Totally acceptable if we had arrived in the morning but considering we arrived at 4:30, we thought this was a bit poor.
The apartment is v.basic, which is too be expected given the price but we also find it to be quite dirty – hair in the basin, dust on the window sills plus the hand basin didn’t drain properly and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable.
If we returned to Memphis, we probably wouldn’t stay here again.
The host was good, the location was good. But there was only one working elevator and a high-pitched whining noise in the bedroom that made it hard to sleep.
The location was perfect as it was a 10 minute walk to Beale street, FedEx Forum and the Westin where we had friends staying. There were a couple of great cafes we ate at for breakfast (Blue Plate and Bon Ton). Charlie was wonderful in meeting with us and getting us all set up with the key and parking pass, even though we were a little earlier than expected. She had to communicate with Sardor on the parking pass since she wasn't aware, but we were able to get set up and the parking lot was very close. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the area. Hopefully the 4 elevators will be working and not just 1! :)
This is a great Downtown Memphis apartment. Perfect for what my friend and I needed! We were just stopping in Memphis for two nights and this apartment was close enough to Beale Street and fun bars and cafes. We even scored free parking outside the hotel! The host was lovely with great communication. We also found the building to be friendly, with a lovely doorman and felt safe and secure at all times. Thanks
A fairly bare bones apartment, but the location is great as are the hosts. If you're looking for a place to crash post-beale street, this is your spot! If you're looking for a home away from home, this may not be the place for you.
Check-in was a little jumbled, but Sardor's team took great care of us. The building needs some updates but was very clean and had fast WiFi. I would stay with him again!
