This wonderful house has been redone with a sophisticated quality renovation. It is located on Jones Hill in the Savin Hill neighborhood of Dorchester, walkable to Savin Hill and the Red Line of the subway. Jones Hill is one of our fine Dorchester Victorian subway neighborhoods where you will find grand houses and interesting neighbors. With this unit, you will have a fabulous city and outer harbor view. This wonderfully renovated Victorian has large rooms for entertaining with wonderful architectural detail and many custom built-ins for an organized life and stay. This unit even provides a laundry room on the bedroom level and a butler's pantry in the kitchen. To add to the ease, this unit provides off-street parking for two cars!

Transportation to and from a Swank Properties unit is very convenient and easy. Whether using public transportation or a car, all of our units are selected based on their ease of access to public transportation and interstate highways. All of our units are located within walking distance to the Boston T (subway) system.

Parking: This unit provides 2 off street parking spaces. There is also free on street, non-metered parking near the residence.

Our properties are fully furnished, providing our guests with all the conveniences of home during their visit to Boston. Our kitchens are fully equipped with a full set of appliances including a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, range with oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Each unit features premium television and free wireless broadband Internet access.

We are delighted that you have chosen us to be your home-away-from-home in Boston! For your departure, we want to provide the information necessary to help things go smoothly.

Check-out is on or before 10am. Late check-outs, unless pre-arranged are billed at the rate specified in the agreed upon Guest Policies. As the next guest will be arriving shortly, the housecleaning staff must arrive promptly at 10am and find the keys in their designated areas.

Please ensure the following are accomplished prior to departure:
Unit: Home returned as it was presented
Laundry: Used bed sheets/bath towels (not duvets or shams or blankets!) in bathtub
Dishes: Final dishes washed and (may be) left in the dishwasher
Trash: All trash/recycling deposited in outside receptacles
Keys: Keys (if provided) returned as described below
Checkout: Use "Mobile Check-out" in the Swank Properties App {SPA} upon departure

As you originally found them, please leave one set of keys (unless an all electronic entry system) on the key rack inside the apartment and one set in the unit keybox for your unit. A charge will be required if the above are not completed and all keys are not returned appropriately. Please allow sufficient time on your check-out morning to accomplish the departure items.

Notification of your departure is required and charges will be automatically applied if not completed. Please check out via the "Mobile Check-out" in the {SPA} no more than 30 minutes after departure. Late Check-out charges will continue until notification of departure has been received.

This home is amazing!!!! Full of character, a great location, and had plenty of space. The kitchen was stocked with all of the gadgets we needed. The backyard has a play set for the kids. Lance is very responsive and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful week in Boston!

The house is very spacious,nine people live without any problems.The house is neat and clean and comfortable.The kitchen is large , kitchen utensils is well appointed and very good , very new .The surrounding environment is quiet and safe.

Big house with very nice rooms. Clean & Tidy. 10 minute walk from metro station and then 20 min metro to city center. Good value for price. Would recommend

Great place to stay with a big group. Plenty of space and the freedom to do our own cooking. I feel like a pro at cooking pancakes now :) off street parking is a bonus if your renting a car too but the T into downtown isn't far away if not. Would stay here again!

Beautiful place to stay! It is quite the trek from the T-station and the house, and even though there is parking on the premises, I strongly encourage courage public/cab transportation. If you prefer cooler temperatures, understand that this property does not have central air. There are some window units, but they are removed during the cooler months. It can make it slightly uncomfortable when you have an unseasonably warm week! Overall, it was a great stay, and I would stay here again.

Yes indeed, we had three days in the 70's (low 50's at night) in October which is a bit unusual. Window AC's come out on October 1 as temps can dip way down to the 30's in October and the window AC's create a draft if it is cold and they are left in the windows. As the neighborhood is quiet and there are window screens on all the windows, generally, we find that open windows do the trick on warmish days. Sorry that we had a mini-warmwave during your stay! Regarding the location of the property from the T-station, it is a 10 minute walk, which is about as close as you can find in the city. A 10 minute walk for most folks is very doable, but if that is stretch, we recommend jumping in an UBER or taxi to get to the T-station. Thanks for staying and we are glad that we could accommodate the extra large group!
