Thanks for the review Brandi. We are disappointed that we fell short on your visit. We have passed on the comments to the owner and will be ensuring that the things you mentioned would be attended too. Just to clarify a couple things for future guests: chunks of wall and ceiling... some wallpaper at the ceiling has come loose and needs to be re-glued. Not actual "wall." Fireplaces have a gap between the tile and the metal surround, but that is not uncommon or unsafe. Thermostats are definitely controlled at the thermostat itself, but there is a safety setting that brings the temp back to 70 after a few hours. On Christmas Eve, we had multiple conversations with the guest to solve the problem and they sounded satisfied. Now we see that they were not and would have continued to try to satisfy them if we would have known. And sadly, we have additional blankets in the house and would have pointed them to them if we knew that they had not found them. Regarding snow, we have a professional crew to do snow removal and clean up. The crew has since dropped off a shovel for guest usage. We don't expect our guests to deal with the snow, so we have the professional crew clean the walks, driveway and steps. Although the crew cleaning the area was not mentioned, rest assured that they were there and did a fantastic job!
