We don't like rules so much but we appreciate friendly, neat and quiet (website hidden) far I never had anybody crossing these wishes. We don't charge for cleaning so we appreciate it when you leave the place as you found it. Smokinbg is allowed but please open the windows when you're out. Our heaters work perfectly, it is warm within a few minutes but the cost of electricity and gas is quite high, so turn the heater down when you're out please!
We had a lovely three nights at Dotti's and found the space to be cosy and compact - just what a couple needs for a short stay. We met her daughter, who was very sweet, and the house was quiet and pleasant.
We found the area, De Pijp, wonderful and at a perfect position to mostly walk around and discover, or walk to any area of town. We did treat ourselves to a taxi ride a couple of times without breaking the bank too. Altogether a lovely stay that I would be happy to recommend on!
Had a really great stay in the green room, there was everything we needed and the room was cosy and bright. Really great location too, tram stops were close and the whole area had a lot going on and had nice parks to relax in the sun too. Dotti and her daughter were really friendly and laid back and pointed out alot of things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again!
My friend and I had a great experience in the apartment. It is clean, modern and cosy. It was also a lot more spacious than we had expected.
It's a bit of a walk from most of the major attractions but it is well connected by public transportation links.
Dotti is a warm, welcoming host. She was very accommodating considering that our arrival was delayed, and she gave us some excellent tips for local bars and restaurants. The room is perfect for a short stay, with a small kitchenette if you need it, and it's been decorated thoughtfully and with care. It's a great area, a short bike ride/walk to the centre, but far enough that it feels a bit quieter. We recommend the Good Chicken Society for an excellent dinner with friendly staff nearby, and Little Collins, an Australian cafe, for their brunch menu and amazing Bloody Mary's.
Das war alles flüssig und einfach :) Sehr schönes Zimmer und gut nutzbare Küchenecke!

About the Host, Dotti
Hi, I live with my daughter (20) downstairs, the studio's are on the first floor and on the top level. Since I run the studio's I look at my city in a more critical way and still I have to admit: it is beautiful, with all the history and its hidden secrets. Together with my colleague I have just written a booklet about Amsterdam in English for all foreign visitors. We are united in spots 2 b as a company now. In leisure time I like running along the river in the morning and I play tennis. I love cooking, eating, traveling, reading and listening to music. And I like talking with my visitors about Amsterdam and the rest of the world.
