Our 18th century apartment (70 square meter) is perfectly situated in the middle of the Jordaan at the Rozengracht, in the middle of the city. It is just 5 minutes by foot from Dam square and a one minute from the famous Anne Frank House.
The high-end shopping area 'De Negen Straatjes' is also just around the corner. The Jordaan is furthermore known for typical Dutch bars, however also has plenty to offer if you prefer more trendy cocktail or wine bars! Moreover, De Jordaan houses many of the best restaurants of cuisine from all over over the world.
The nearby public transport stop has quick connections to Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein, if you don't feel like the twenty minute walk over the beautiful 'grachten' (canals). Or else you can rent bikes from the bike shop just around the corner.
The apartment has one bedroom that can accommodate two people, the bed is very big and comfortable. It has one bathroom equipped with the things you need. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, espresso machine and a lot of cooking equipment (we love cooking). You can also use our wifi.
i have made a list and map of the best things to experience in Amsterdam. Since I love eating especially of my favorite restaurants.
Lisanne's apartment was fantastic, we stayed for one week in July. Her place is quite large, very clean, and quiet even though is is on a busy street. The apartment is tastefully furnished and gets great light. The bed is large and very comfortable. Lisanne met us herself to give us the keys and a bottle of wine and had helpful tips for good places to eat in her neighborhood. There are two flights of steep stairs, but if you are ok with that then I would highly recommend Lisanne's place to anyone looking to stay in Amsterdam.
Lisanne was a great host who gave us all the information we needed to explore Amsterdam and outside of Amsterdam. Her place was cozy, warm and beautiful. It was hard to leave her place. A wonderful Dutch apartment experience we will cherish for a long time!
Lisanne was a lovely host. She was kind and generous, leaving us a bottle of wine and Dutch cookies. Thank you! The apartment looks as listed with a comfy bed and big TVs to watch. It was cool to stay in a real Dutch apartment, steep staircase included. The location of this apartment ROCKS. It's very close to good restaurants and the tram. We would definitely stay here again.
Lisanne greeted us with champagne and stroopwafels and was very thorough in explaining everything about the apartment. She provided a map with sites and suggested restaurants. Lovely apartment in a very convenient neighborhood. We enjoyed the quaintness of the typically steep and narrow stairwells, but may be difficult for some to navigate. We would definitely stay here again!
Lisanne's flat is a great place to explore Amsterdam from, and situated in our favourite area of Amsterdam. Very cool and relaxed. 5 mins walk from the Anne Frank House!
We were greeted with a bottle of wine, biscuits and helpful information about Amsterdam. Very thoughtful.
Great space, comfy bed, sofa and great kitchen. Especially liked making coffee in the morning.
Can't fault it. Many thanks Lisanne!
Lisanne has a great flat in a fantastic location. You can walk practically everywhere from here, although there's a tram stop a couple of minutes away and a bike rental even closer. The flat is spacious and homely, and Lisanne made us welcome with a bottle of wine and a pack of delicious syrup waffles! She had also prepared a map highlighting places of interest.
Great points: big bed, very comfortable. Coffee machine. Space and light. Well-equipped kitchen.
Having spent a week traipsing all over Amsterdam I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! The nicest parts of the city are on your doorstep.
We had a great weekend staying in Lisanne's apartment. Cute decor, comfortable bed, and the location is fantastic. Lisanne even greeted us with a bottle of wine and some traditional Dutch cookies! Would recommend to anyone looking to spend a few days in Amsterdam.
