Treehouse, nested 3 stories high within a grove of second growth redwood trees (i.e., about 120 years old).

The space

We are the proud owners of the wonderful river tree-house nestled just across the river from the 1200 person town of Guerneville (1 mile.)

The home sleeps 6 comfortably and includes: a master-bedroom (queen); 2nd bedroom has 3 single beds (2 in a bunk, + 1 twin); 2nd Master Bedroom (detached lower level - queen w/private bath/shower). Nicely equipped kitchen; outdoor gas grill for BBQ on top floor deck, just outside kitchen door.

We have variable pricing: $250 - $350/night
*An additional $25/person for each additional adult after 6.

*Cleaning fee $100
* County Transient Tax (9%)
* 7th night is free of charge

Our home sits across the road from the Russian River with partial river views, one house away from the neighborhood river access point (~50 yards), which includes a small neighborhood beach and access point for kayaks and floaters. A feature of the neighborhood is it's restful, quiet demeanor - boisterous partying later than 9:30-10 pm can be carried out in downtown Guerneville, leaving our/your neighbor's evening rest undisturbed.

The organic groceries store is adjacent the 24 hour Safeway; bank and credit union ATM's, several restaurants, pubs, shops, art and antique galleries, both barbershop and beauty salon - and a USPS station, too - are within the five block stretch of Main Street (River Road) which constitutes downtown Guerneville. Bicycles, kayaks and canoes can be rented there, as well. All, about one mile from the treehouse; choose to walk there by your choice of the bridge carrying Route 116 traffic, or the historic bridge it replaced, now restricted to human-powered traffic.

The property includes a large, fenced, private garden with hot tub, quiet seating, over 15 redwood trees and a number of magnificent redwood stumps standing over 30 feet tall. Pet friendly and lots of room for dogs to run in a secured yard.

Take in the sun on the shore, or the quiet in our private, mini- grove of redwood trees.

We will be continually upgrading this precious property, so come now and see it grow and blossom under our care.

Rustic but comfy treehouse with easy river access, and short 1mile trip to the town of Guerneville. We enjoyed hot tubbing under the redwoods, and hanging out in the cozy living room. The house itself is cool and shady, even when the weather is hot! Lots of stairs, so be aware if that's tricky for you - but we had a 2 year old with us and once we were inside it was just fine. The 2nd bath and 2nd queen bedroom is like a separate apartment underneath the main house (which has 2 bedrooms, bathroom with tub, and living room/kitchen) and that worked great for our group. Nice gas grill and plenty of plates & spices, but bring your own oil/sugar/butter etc. Great weekend at the river!

Beautiful cabin within walking distance to river. Cabin was surprisingly cool (weather was 100 degrees when we were there). Eric was a very communicative and helpful host. Would stay there again!

Quiet and relaxing house nestled in the redwood trees, fantastic hot tub, well stocked kitchen (including a seasoning drawer with any spice you would ever want - I was in awe of this!!), quick walk to the river beach hang spot, access to extra floaties, quick jog into town to explore, comfy beds and couches, clean, easy check in and out, quiet road with no traffic, and easy parking for multiple cars. Will book again in the future!

Great place! Location was awesome, it was super clean and the jacuzzi was a great way to start the day. It had a gorgeous backyard and great access to the river. Couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend a few great lazy summer days at.

The "Treehouse" is just that -- nestled in giant trees and surrounded by nature. Our group had a great time staying at the house. I'm assuming most people would drive back-and-forth between the house and town, but we walked for most of our stay and didn't have any troubles. Walk into town is about 20-25 minutes (depending on how fast you walk). The grill is located on a small porch right off of the kitchen, making it really easy to set up a nice BBQ or grill dinner close to the table. At night, we'd sit in the hot tub and enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood and the beautiful lit-up backyard looking up at the house. We would definitely stay here again -- a big thank you to John and Eric for such a great long weekend in Guerneville!
