Our home sits across the road from the Russian River with partial river views, one house away from the neighborhood river access point (~50 yards), which includes a small neighborhood beach and access point for kayaks and floaters. A feature of the neighborhood is it's restful, quiet demeanor - boisterous partying later than 9:30-10 pm can be carried out in downtown Guerneville, leaving our/your neighbor's evening rest undisturbed.
The organic groceries store is adjacent the 24 hour Safeway; bank and credit union ATM's, several restaurants, pubs, shops, art and antique galleries, both barbershop and beauty salon - and a USPS station, too - are within the five block stretch of Main Street (River Road) which constitutes downtown Guerneville. Bicycles, kayaks and canoes can be rented there, as well. All, about one mile from the treehouse; choose to walk there by your choice of the bridge carrying Route 116 traffic, or the historic bridge it replaced, now restricted to human-powered traffic.
The property includes a large, fenced, private garden with hot tub, quiet seating, over 15 redwood trees and a number of magnificent redwood stumps standing over 30 feet tall. Pet friendly and lots of room for dogs to run in a secured yard.
Take in the sun on the shore, or the quiet in our private, mini- grove of redwood trees.
We will be continually upgrading this precious property, so come now and see it grow and blossom under our care.

The Tree House was awesome! Our group had 7 adults, one baby and a dog. My husband and I stayed in the detached master bedroom with the baby, which meant we didn't bother the baby at night while we were socializing and the baby didn't bother our friends early in the morning when she woke up. The house is fully equipped with so many towels, blankets, space heaters, everything you could want. We were impressed that the kitchen's amenities were nicer than average - in particular the microwave and coffee grinder. The proximity to the river can't be beat.
Eric was great to work with. Very prompt to reply and really helpful.
The tree house is beautiful. I feel very lucky that it was available for our annual Russian River Memorial Day Weekend/Birthday extravaganza. Eight of us stayed in the house and had a lovely time. The hot tub is really big and relaxing. The backyard has a giant redwood stump that is quite magical. It's also fully fenced, which is really nice if you're bringing your dog with you on your river trip.I've rented from local vacation rental places in the past, and Airbnb was much easier. Eric replied to my request within the hour. I would highly recommend this spot. I loved it. Thank you!
Eric's place was awesome! It was large, quiet and cozy. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a weekend away. Thanks again Eric!
I had a wonderful time celebrating with my ladies at the tree house. It was the perfect location to do some nearby wine tasting, hiking, and eating at the great restaurants in guerneville! Eric was incredibly responsive during the weekend to any questions that arose and was truly accommodating of our needs. And the hot tub surrounded by glorious red woods on the property was so scenic. I definitely hope to make it back to the tree house at some point in the future. Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful home!
The house is great and the setting is beautiful. We had such a relaxing time hanging out in the house, out in the hot tub, and down by the river that's barely a minute away.
4 of us headed up to the treehouse for a long weekend. We had a great time relaxing in the hot tub, walking down to the river, heading in to town, and cooking. I highly recommend staying at the treehouse for a nice getaway.
We are a group of four women who have known each other since high school and go away for a weekend once a year. The Treehouse was a last minute find as our scheduled rental canceled on us last minute. Thank you Eric! We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was a clean and cozy cabin. The hot tub was perfect under the redwood trees. We went for a two hour hike in Armstrong woods one day and enjoyed our delicious meals in town conveniently located five minute drive away at Boon, Big Bottom Market and Dick Bloomsters Korean Pop Up at Pats Diner. It would be lovely to come back in the summertime.
A group of friends and I stayed at the treehouse for my 30th birthday and went wine tasting around Guerneville. The house had everything we needed to cook our own meals and we had a beautiful, relaxing time. Eric was very helpful and friendly on the phone both before and after our stay. One winery employee even asked if we were staying at "that amazing treehouse!" Apparently it's earned a positive reputation! I would highly recommend it and stay again!
Eric was easy to communicate with, he got me all of the necessary information, and the place was great. The Russian River Treehouse was stocked with everything we needed and the grill and hot tub were awesome features.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the Tree House! It was clean and a convenient location to everything the Russian River has to offer!!! The BBQ was in great working condition as was the hot tub. The only reason I give it 4 stars was a lack of soap and shampoo in both of the bathrooms and that the downstairs bedroom was a little chilly without central heat. There was a space heater that was OK when it got cooking and luckily we found a sleeping bag to unfold and use as an additional blanket.
